When Rod conceived the idea he had not met Anita Kerr; nor had he thought of sharing his work with anyone else. Rod had stated that in Anita he not only had the perfect sounding board, but that she is a composer of such uncommon talent that each association between the two of them had been for him a perfect artistic experience. The Sea was released in 1967. The Earth and The Sky quickly followed.
