Willow Tree Sign for Love Ornament, Sculpted Hand-Painted Figure

Beautiful. The perfect gift!

This was a unique ornament because of the hand sign of love the angel is making. It was for my granddaughter who has Autism and cannot speak. We use signs and although love is intangible we can not explain that particular sign. But, the love is in our eyes and in her eyes and smile. The angel is a lovely meaningful visual and a sign of hope for someday she will understand that sign and the connection of the angel and love. This is a lovely gift for teachers and family members who have special needs children in their lives.

I bought these angels for all of my close friends and they loved them! Pretty and great quality.

I purchased one of the Willow Tree hand-painted sculpted Ornament, Sign for Love, for each of my four children. Like all Willow Tree ornaments and figurines, it is faceless, yet expresses love, hope, togetherness and others feelings that represent an emotion or mark a memory (such as the birth/death of a child, a graduation). It is made from an original hand carving by Susan Lordi and comes nicely packaged in a gift box with sentiment card enclosed. This particular figure is 4.5 inches in height and is unique in that it communicates through gesture by showing the sign language symbol for "I love you!" It also comes with the sentiment, "I love you," written on the tag attached to the hanging cord. Its a perfect reminder to my children for years to come. Grade A+

I call my granddaughter “Angel” as an endearment (lots of scope for irony 😉) and I had favorite angel Christmas ornament when I was her age so wanted to give her one for her tree this year. I looked all over the web before I found this one. I like the simplicity of the design and the ASL quiet message of love. Hope she likes it as much as I do!

I purchased two of these beautiful 'sign for love' ornaments for friends for Christmas, and they both loved them! I love all the Willow Tree ornaments.
