I played tennis in high school -- I was no good, on the second doubles team. But I did enjoy the game.Recently my son (in his early 20s) wanted to play a little tennis. I told him we have two wooden rackets in the garage, a Jack Kramer Autograph (anyone remember that one?) and a Slazenger. He dug out the Kramer and it was as warped as sin. The Slazenger held its shape, so he used that one. After playing with his friend, he said he felt like a hipster on the court using that old wooden racket. So I ordered this Kevenz for him to use.It seems to be built nicely. It is stringed well and the tension seems right. The grip is okay (but watch for the shrink wrap on it, as it is a little sticky and pulling it off can damage the grip if you're not careful). The racket is very light weight, suitable for beginners but probably not for intermediate players. The case is fine.At this price, it makes for a decent beginner's racket, something that someone can start out with to see if they even like playing tennis. And if they do, and get fairly good at it, they may want to advance to a better racket after a couple years and keep this one as a backup. Overall, I give it four stars.

The Kevenz tennis racket is perfect for a beginning tennis player. I am middle aged (50+) and have been taking tennis lessons to reduce stress and lose weight. This racket is lightweight and sturdy. The color, a bright orange, is vibrant and easy to see. The handle is black, easy to hold and very comfortable in the hand. The frame is aluminum/carbon fiber which is so light (less than a pound) and easy to carry. The strings on the face are tight and when they make contact with the ball, it doesn’t vibrate. Smooth action. This racket comes with a nice carrying case that has a convenient shoulder strap. And finally, this racket is inexpensive, under $40 (on Amazon), so definitely is worth taking a look. I’d recommend it.
