This new Flexi (white/black) is AMAZING!!! I've used the Flexi Retractable-L (Red leash) for 15 years, which should speak for itself. It's been solid and dependable; however, after 15 yrs of use and a new pup chewing on it, I felt I needed something newer, safer and better. My German Shep-Lab mix pup is just turning 2yrs old. She is very strong and still gets excited, pulls, etc. The new Flexi leash provides the stability and security that I have needed. I now feel I am in control and she is no longer walking or dragging me.Initially, I was surprised by the size of leash, which was the Large size, but decided to try it out and honestly, am beyond satisfied/happy with this purchase! The handle has supportive grip, so not to slide and is adjustable for a secure fit for any hand size. The versatile 26ft leash length (I chose for our needs) is smooth, sturdy and overall great, giving her the ability to run freely or walk close to me, etc. The buttons are easy to use, and much more efficient and more comfortable than the old model.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this leash and the FLEXI brand! This is a QUALITY, durable item in material and use, and you will feel that the moment you test it out. As far as the Flexi brand, if my first one can survive 15 yrs and is now a back up leash, then I know the new leash will prove to be just as dependable, already superior in every way and worth the price.

I have an older retractable leash for up to 90# dogs. I recently gave a home to a dog that was heading to the pound because the current owner could not handle another dog. He was supposed to be 80 or 85# but in April he was topping 100# of lean muscle and he had just turned 1 year old. It seemed the old leash was not going to hold him anymore and I needed another. The one I ordered was for 132# dog and the one I received was labeled for 110# dogs. I contacted them and told them my dog was almost at 110# already. They credited me the purchase and said I could just order another.He is over 110# now and I use it. We often walk at night and if he sees a deer I am unaware of, he will bolt for it. The locking mechanism stops him and the leash is no worse for wear. This leash is very strong and seems it will do the job for some time to come. The latch to "hold" the lock is easy to flip and secure. This is good because 26 feet is a lot of runway and he gets a head of steam. I even got one of those wrist wraps that go around your wrist and secures to the handle. He once hit the end so hard the wrist strap was all that kept him from getting free. The retractable leash took that hit without issue. I recommend highly.

We recently purchased a large for our pup and had the lead actually tear/rip after just a couple of weeks. When notified they had us ship back the leash for inspection and today we received our replacement. They stand behind their products and I would recommend them highly!! Not many companies today can make that claim, but Flexi can!!!

The FLEXI retractable leash is the best, because it comes direct from the inventor Manfred Bogdahn in Germany. I am a former employee of this company and know exactly how those leashes are made. This leash is the most reliable you can find on the market. My dog is a Dutch Shepherd Mix and used to be a pretty wild guy. Unfortunately we have to keep our four legged babies on a leash at all times. Now that he is 13 years old and not that wild anymore, I decided on the FLEXI with 26ft. belt length. What a difference for his freedom of movement. I highly can recommend this leash and all others from FLEXI !!!

After my previous leash was stolen from us while Willie and I were playing ball in the park, I was forced to run to the pet store and buy a new one. Thanks Katy, TX thief. They only carried the Flexi for large dogs. I was surprised how smooth this leash felt in my hand. After returning home I ordered a second one for backup and the poo bag dispenser from Flexi. We now have a new favorite retractable leash.

The item is good quality and good to use but there was no option to select a colour when ordering as there are 2 colours shown in the picture and i was expecting to get a red one but instead got the pink one.

Bought this for my staffy. Love it as it gives her a lot of freedom on the walk whilst still being on the lead. Easy to use.

I ordered the Pink Flexi New Comfort Retractable Dog Lead and was expecting to receive the pink and black lead with pink tape as featured in the photographs in this listing. However, I was very disappointed to receive a white and mauve lead with white tape - totally impractical - very unhappy with this purchase. Very misleading listing.
