What exactly is the waist on these briefs it states up to 46"

I am used to ordereing a size larger when buying briefs. This time I could have ordered my usual "large" rather then the "extra large": the latter were a bit loose around the hips. Still overall they are a good value; bikini brief, low on the hips, good smooth texture; I chose the pink color--all of which I like.

I sleep in mine...why not?

Why not indeed! They breathe well and wick sweat away. Certainly well-suited for those who sleep lightly clothed!

How well will these cover a semi erection?

form fitting & semi transparent, you will, definitely notice the bulge, me erect 6 1/2 inches, leaning a bit to the side which works for me.
