Kid Trax Mini Cooper 6V Ride On, Pink

I purchased this ride on toy for my twin boys who just turned two years old. The package arrived in great condition and after the cake and ice cream, I set to assembling this toy in my garage. I did read other reviews that cautioned that the assembly time could be as long as two hours, so I made sure the boys understood it might be a while... Fortunately, I was able to follow the easy to use instructions and had it together in under 30 minutes. As soon as I opened the box, I located the charger and battery, and set them to charging, that way we did have enough "juice" in the battery right out of the box for a couple laps around the yard. The plastic components are very heavy duty and I am sure they will last for the lifetime of the toy. I was also impressed with the rubber center tread sections on all 4 tires, which certainly help with traction on all surfaces. By far the most impressive component of this car, is the fact that the on-board electronics (i.e. the flashing lights and siren etc.) are powered directly by the same 12 v battery that allows the car to drive. This is a major improvement over other ride on toys I have seen that require auxiliary "AA" batteries to power on board electronics. So far, this car is the best ride on electric toy that I've come across!

My 3 year old LOVES this car!!! We did have a couple issues right from the start, however. One of the axels was extremely bent, but luckily my husband was able to straighten it enough to continue assembling the car. The plastic on the light bar was completely crushed on one side, so that was a bit of a bummer. We did contact the company, and they were helpful about getting replacement parts sent to us. However, it did take quite awhile for them to arrive. Luckily my son was so excited about the car on Christmas morning, he didn't notice the light bar being broken for awhile. Even with the broken pieces, it was totally worth the money!! We will continue to get countless hours of fun in this car.

This pink “cool car” is a very basic car. The doors don’t open, the buttons on the steering wheel don’t do anything, nothing lights up or makes noise, and it doesn’t seem as strong of a motor as the Kid Trax police car that my son got a few years ago. It gets stuck in the grass pretty regularly and the motor is very loud. Overall, if you have nothing to compare this car to, and you can drive it on something paved instead of grass, it’s lovely. When I compare it to the police car though, it almost seems like a knock off. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who wants something more than the most absolute basic if ride on cars.

I bought this for my sons 4th birthday and he is obsessed with being a policeman. This quality of this car is great! our neighbor also bought a battery operated car for their child about 2 months after we bought this one and my son looks like a giant in the one they bought(not the same brand), it is so much smaller and it is slower and the tires spin out alot trying to move through the yard, like theres not enough power! I can now see the better quality in the product we purchased! I would recommend this car by Kid trax, absolutely! it's alot of money to spend for something but I can see my son using it for at least 2 more years! He has used it at least 3-4 times a week for 4 months now and I am very happy with my purchase.

My grandson loves his new police car! It's the perfect size for him, and he's just a little on the taller side for a 4-year old. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because one of the hubcaps wouldn't go on, so my daughter called the company and they addressed the issue directly with her and took care of it for her. As far as the customer service goes, she had no problems and the car is a hit with my grandson.

This was a Christmas present for our son. The direction were simple and easy to follow. Once put together the car would not turn on. Customer service was helpful and walked me through all the troubleshooting.Beyond that my son drove into a bench and broke the front push bar. Customer service again out did themselves and rush delivered a new one free of charge. Awesome experience and very happy with the product.

Bought this a year and a half ago for Christmas of 2017. This is the baddest product on the face of the planet. It has been left outside and my son has crashed it multiple times where things are just broken off. It still takes a charge and he still drives it all of the time. Thank you.

My kid wants to be riding this all day, and I don't blame him. It is a super quality item which should give years of happiness, It takes probably 25 minutes to accemble and the directions which were provided were of excellent assistance to me, the box is heavy when delivered, so make sure you work out days before it arrives to avoid any risk of hurting you back. Everything works just like a true squad car. Does not include a dash camera.
