Not Worth The Hassle
I would not order these brackets again. Amazon's part was good--delivery in two days as I wanted--but the brackets themselves are poor quality. The main problem is that they are not bent to a true 90 degrees and this varies from bracket to bracket. This means that if you don't compensate for this in some way, the shelves will not end up level and/or the wood will bend as you screw the shelves into place. I had to buy nylon spacers of various thicknesses to fill the gaps so my shelves would be level and not crack or distort the wood. Mine was a big project: 25 brackets ($200) and 60 linear feet of shelves. The nylon spacers cost another $10.00. It was a whole lot of hassle I didn't need. Also, the brackets were not packed well for shipping. They put the 25 brackets just loose in a box and the box was delivered partially broken open. Because of the poor packing, the paint on most brackets is scratched and chipped. If I were to do this project again, I would buy the brackets locally and make sure they had a true 90 degree bend.

Not square.
These brackets were not square. I could not use them for the project as planned. I may use them for a garage shelf that can be tilted back toward the wall and appearance is not critical. They seem sturdy, just not welded at a 90 degree angle.

You get what you pay for...
As far as the purchase and delivery goes, no issues. I took a chance that I might get lucky and end up with a good bracket. I ended up with a bracket that although heavy duty, resembled the many other review results - you get what you pay for ... the angle bracket wasn't 90 degrees and had bends in the top or support leg.

Sturdy but Craftsmenship Needs Work
These are very sturdy shelf brackets that can definitely handle a lot of weight if installed correctly. I didn't experience any of the issues in regards to these being level. BUT the finish on these is not the brushed nickel that appears in the product photo. Instead they are a flat gray color and there is several chips in the finish and the welds are not neat.I ended up keeping these because we need to install the shelves ASAP but had I more time I would have returned these and look for something with a better finish quality.

Simple, Clean Brackets
We've used these twice now in our house. They achieve the perfect balance of a modern, simple, unobtrusive bracket that also has some visual quality when you are looking for a more finished look. We've had one set installed for over a year now and the finish has held up well.

Inconsistency
Apparently the "squareness" of the brackets is not the only problem. I ordered two brackets, and for some reason they had to be shipped separately. My initial impression of the first one is that it was okay....would do the job. The finish was not what I expected, instead of a true, shiny, metal appearance, it was more of a painted silver....maybe even a gray. It did seem to be heavy-duty.Then I received the second one, and the paint color was a different shade of grey/silver, whatever it was...not "titanium." The brackets don't match. Returned.

Solid
These shelf brackets are not the most attractive, but for my home office, screwed into studs, they support shelves with lots of books. Installation was OK -- hard to get drill/driver in position over the screws; might want to use some hex-head bolts and nut drivers instead of Philips-head screws.

The hold up
Very good brackets. I used them in the garge they now hold up all kinds of odds and ends. The even hold up all my tools and tool boxes.
