The dial was to small to read from helm. Then they would only refund 50% of the purchase price. I will never knowingly purchase from seller again.

Great quality and equal to more expensive units
Great price, the supplier was helpful and supplied exactly what was shown and described. Delivery was quick and it fit perfectly in the hole from the previous compass

Not the size it is listed as.
It is listed as being 6"x6"x3" in size, but in actuality, it is only 3-7/8" x 3-7/8" x 3" in size and is completely useless for my application.

Works as intended
Simple straight forward compass. Do not install near speakers or magnets. Installed on Ensenada 20', in about 25 to 30 minutes. Though sealed tight, I did not cover back. This makes compass visible from within cabin.

works fine. Not fancy
I use this Richie compass on the bulkhead of a 22-foot sailboat to replace one that kept leaking fluid (a different compass brand). This one, simple as it is, works fine. Not fancy, just serviceable and under $100.

Not as advertised!
Under product dimensions it says it's 6X6X3. It is NOT! It's 4x4x3. The BOX is 6X6! You can't mount the box. I ordered it because it would (supposedly) cover a 6X6 area on the bulkhead which was unsightly. It doesn't. Other than that, it's a nice piece of equipment.

Garbage.
Seller shipped broken compass then gave a hard time on the return. Still have unusable compass. Terrible purchase. Total loss.
