They're usable, but the inside diameter of the female ends vary slightly. I ran into some that were too tight to put together without a frustrating struggle. I could take another fitting from the same package and have it slip right on. This turned out to be the case with all the other types of 1/2" fittings from this company as well.

These are exactly what I needed. Good value.

These copper elbows have very cleanly finished ends compared to some other elbows purchased at the big box store. The walls of these elbows also appear thicker than the ones purchased at the big box store.The ends are cleanly tapered in to assist with fitting the copper pipe into the elbow. A cleaned 1/2 copper pipe fits snuggly into the elbow, which is probably a good thing to maintain alignment and reduce the volume of solder required to fill the joint.
