I just run the head under water each time I use it. I’ve never detached anything. You can wipe the body of it with a wet paper towel and vinegar and then rinse. Vinegar will sterilize. You can spray the head with vinegar and the. Rinse.

Q: What size is the frother? Will it fit in a 2 oz paint bottle?

I would think so. The stem part including the frother part measures 4 inches long . This is not counting the handle. Hope this helps.

Q: can I use this to mix resin for crafts?

Sure...BUT I WOULD NOT DO IT. Hard to get off once resin is dried, so you are sacrificing your Frother for coffee and beverages- which is the primary purpose.
