FOUR STARS TO TWO... HERE'S WHY
UPDATE--FROM 4 STARS TO 2: As noted in my original review below, I said that I would revisit my rating at a later time, if necessary, and that time arrived much more quickly than I imagined. Cutting to the chase, the BroilPro turns out to have a "blow away" problem similar to the Weber, which means that its remaining advantage over the Weber is that it's about half the price. I bought two bricks at Lowes today to keep it in place.ORIGINAL REVIEW: The BroilPro is my third cover for my Weber Performer Grill and, as they say, I'm hoping the third time is the charm. The Weber cover, which I bought twice, has a great fit but blows off with the slightest gust of wind, a problem which has been noted in many reviews. And, if the most recent reviews of the Weber cover are accurate, it would seem that Weber has cheapened the quality of the fabric used compared to older versions of it, which are the ones that I owned. The Classic Accessories "Ravena" model cover was my next purchase and, hands down, it has the best fabric quality compared to either the Weber or my new BroilPro. And although the Ravena is made to fit the Performer, it's on the large size, with a looser, somewhat sloppy looking fit, so the strap and clip system is a must to use to avoid the cover blowing away. Problem is, the web straps deteriorated very quickly and became unusable.I'd say the BroilPro fabric is very good, though not up to the Ravena standards, while the fit is snug and seemingly resistant to wind gusts so far. I'm giving it a solid four stars for now, but will revisit this review if problems emerge with continued use. Thanks for taking the time to read my review and I hope you find it helpful in reaching a buying decision.

Proof that you get what you pay for
If you read other reviews and come away with the impression that you’re stealing a Weber-quality grill cover for half the price, don’t be fooled (it honestly makes me question the validity of reviews these days). To be fair, these covers are roughly half the price, and the quality is about half as well, so you aren’t going to be hurt by buying one. My two Weber grills are quite old and I might be replacing them soon, further reason not to spend Weber money on new covers. But if you want Weber quality, pay up and don’t bother considering these. What is perhaps more disappointing is that they don’t even look like the pictures, which show brown contrasting piping along the seams (which not only look good, but could perhaps provide additional strength). Check out my picture, no such thing. The listing should have at least been accurate. I would send them back but as mentioned, they are cheap, and they’ll serve a purpose for a season (or 2 if I’m lucky). I do hope the seller reaches out to me regarding having received a product highly deficient from what is shown in their listing. And the reviews mentioning concerns about blowing away are accurate. This cover has just one Velcro strap (the cover for my other grill - the one on the left in my picture - has Velcro on both sides allowing the cover to tightly wrap your grill). I have to secure it with a clamp on the back side (you could also use a brick or something else heavy) to keep it from blowing right off the grill. The bottom line here is that you are getting exactly what you are paying for; nothing less, nothing more. If you want a low price grill cover that’ll last a season or two, this might do the trick.

Not very water resistant
I bought this on a recommendation of a friend. His may not have the same design since he owns a different grill.Pros: Heavy duty construction with large Velcro straps. It has held up well even in the remnants of a tropical storm. We had 50 mph wind gusts and the cover stayed in place.Cons: The cover does not do well at all in keeping rain and moisture from collecting on my grill. The design flaw, I believe, is the sewn in handle on the top of the cover. It leaks terribly and consequently my grill is always wet or full of moisture when I remove the cover. I paid almost $1000 for the Weber grill and the idea behind covering it is to protect it. Being constantly wet is not good for the exterior or internals of the grill. It is good that the cover is heavy duty but it doesn’t breathe and it also sweats when the sun hits it. I will be replacing this cover before it causes permanent damage. I am already having trouble with the igniters which I attribute to this cover.Follow up one year later - Actually less than a year. The plastic is delaminating and there are holes showing up all over the cover. John st had to order a new cover. Save your money.

Thinner, more flexible...and shorter length than before
Still one of the best values for the cost, the BroilPro grill cover is now thinner and more flexible than the previous iterations of the product. While more flexibility is probably a good thing, I'm concerned the new version may not stand up to multiple summer heat waves as it did previously. Also, the cover is now noticeably shorter by an inch or two, and the internal volume is smaller so it no longer fits if the folding sides of the grill are extended. The BroilPro logo has been removed, which leads me to believe the grill cover has been outsourced to a different factory. Time will tell if the cover lasts as long as the previous version.

Seems to be great quality
When it was first installed the fit was good and it is much heavier material then original Weber. Not that I have been using it it has taken shape, conforming to the grill and is extremely easy to remove and install. Personally I like this one much better then the original Weber cover.I don't get much wind so I can't give it a rating on that but it seems too heavy to lift off and fly and it could be clamped to the legs of the grill if that was an issue.
