Do these fit a bissell biggreen bgfs5000??

The Bissell Biggreen bgfs5000 is the Koblenz P4000.  You need the brushes for the P4000.  The difference is in the hub.  These brushes have a black composite 4 spline hub and the P4000 has a metal 8 spline hub to handle the extra torque of the P4000(Bissel bgfs500) scrubber.  If you use the black hubs it will ruin your scrubber even though they will appear to click on, they will not seat in the shaft splines.  Apart from the hubs, the bushes are identical. So, if you want to save money you can drill out the 2 rivits from the bottom of each hub and attach your old hub to the new brush using 2 small bolts with nylon locking nuts.  Otherwise, you want to buy the brushes for the Koblenz P4000.  I hope this helps.

Since I don't own your Hoover equipment the best I can offer is this: if you have the brushes that DO fit but they're worn out, take careful measurements of the plastic structure: it's outer diameter and overall height. Also measure the diameter of the spindle that fits into the metal cap attached to the brush housing. This must fit snugly into the metal cap. The drive spindles on your Hoover should fit into the retaining slots on the metal top, so measure the slots on the brush or the pin that must sit snugly into them. As for these brushes which fit the Kenmore machine, if you need comparative dimensions, post the data above and I'll measure the corresponding dimensions of the brushes and post them in my reply.
