A surprising bargain - for a while, but it doesn't last
Fountain pens have been my instrument of choice for decades. My primary pen has been a LAMY studio fountain pen. But I’ve always had back-up fountain pens (when ink would run out in my LAMY and I was on the road, I could quickly switch to my back-up). Well, my back-up recently gave up the ghost. I looked for a not-too-expensive replacement, and decided to take a chance on Zenzoi Yellow Fountain Pen. The reviews seemed too good to be true considering the price point. But with the pandemic, many of us are much more budget-minded than before, so I ordered it.This is a very slim-styled pen, which makes for effortless writing. The nib seems top notch, and the fine point scribes smoothly and accurately on the page. The converter cartridge works perfectly. I’m very pleasantly surprised. I’ve only had this pen a few days and so can’t speak to the pen’s longevity. That said, I have used many, many fountain pens through the years, and this one’s design and operation far exceed its price point. If it lasts a few years, it will be a bargain. Also, this company includes the converter at no extra charge, which honestly every pen maker should do. A converter is the economical and environmental way to go for fountain pens.FOLLOW UP AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS. After using this pen for several months, I have to unfortunately change my rating. The nib will no longer write cleanly on any surface that is not absolutely pristine. I have reloaded ink repeatedly, and have cleaned the nib repeatedly. I use a pump with high quality ink. This is either due to too narrow of a nib on this fine point, or the fact that it's not built for durability and constant use. I bit the bullet and bought myself a new (and much more expensive) Lamy. The pen's price point and styling was apparently too good to be true. I'd stay away from this one and save your extra pennies for a more expensive fountain pen.

My first foray into the world of fountain pens... again
When I was a kid my grandma bought me my first fountain pen. A complete disaster! Ink got all over everything, the cartridges didn't fit well and the pen itself left huge blotches of ink all over the paper (user error? probably) and I left with an indelible impression that fountain pens were "old technology" and thank the Heavens that roller balls were available. For some reason, a couple of weeks back, YouTube thought I needed to see a video on the "top ten fountain pens" and for reasons I can't explain and YouTube's AI easily could, I clicked on the link. Here we are with a Zenzoi fountain pen and a fancy bottle of ink from a company named after a mountain and I have had a total blast! I've done more journal writing in the past couple of weeks than I ever have (my poor progeny). It "flows" over the paper. It writes so smoothly that I actually look forward to uncapping my pen and jotting down my thoughts and impressions for the day! I've even practiced tidying up my handwriting a bit.Thank you Zenzoi for helping my hobby of writing become that much more fun. Highly recommend this pen! Started with a Royal Blue ink but now I've transitioned to a Toffey Brown. Tee hee! The little things, friends. Delightful! Great pen! Nice weight and balance. Feels and looks super high quality. Writes like a dream!

Low Value for Price - Best With High Quality Ink
There are some fountain pens that work better but are less money. This one seems to be the same as a cheap one, but with a higher price tag. When I first start to write the ink is dark; however, as I continue to write the darkness starts to fade. After about a page of writing the ink is a lighter shade of what it should be. I would like to have a pen that stays a consistent shade, even after a page or so. This one just cannot do this. I should have stuck with the Pilot Metropolitan.Update: (added 1 star) About a month ago I purchased some higher quality ink. This new ink works better in this pen. The darker shade will last longer. However, if I write fast it will begin to get lighter; although, not as quickly. I'm no longer disappointed; however, I wouldn't purchase this pen again.A positive for this pen is that the tip is a fine point as stated. I've read reviews about some pens stating fine, but writing more like a medium.

I love a fountain ink pen!
This Zenzoi ink pen is so much fun to use! The ink flows effortlessly, and creates smooth lines! The pen is light and fits well in the hand! My opinion is that nothing creates the natural beauty from ink to paper like a fountain pen!

Second of these I've bought, this for my wife.
Basically, my wife was so envious of my yellow model that I bought this blue one for her. Here's the review from the yellow pen:I've always loved fountain pens. My trusty Waterman turned up missing years ago and I never replaced it. Until I saw these pens and thought "if the nibs are as good as they look this may be a winner!" They are, and it is! Terrific pen, well-weighted and solid, excellent nib, a fine pen, especially for the price.

Yellow bird
Light as a feather - almost - this pen is comfortable in the hand and writes smoothly notwithstanding its fine point nib. If the user prefers, he may post the cap on it. It still feels well balanced although I find that writing without the cap is much better for long use - less fatigue from holding the pen.The colour is a brilliant and rich lemon/chrome and is as you see online. It has a push in cap and is appropriate to carry in the pocket and be used all day long.

One of the best
I have purchased several fountain pens recently, rediscovering my love for them. This pen is one of my favorites as it writes smoothly and has good ink flow. There is no skipping or scratchiness. Also love the fact that a converter is included. The nib is German made and I believe a Japanese company is the manufacturer, both great IMHO.Moreover, Seazoi, the company that sells it is excellent in its customer service. I am impressed by the product as well as the seller and will not hesitate to purchase from them again. One thing I'd like to see is a petite version with a screw top. That would be perfect.:)
