(New Version) SMALLRIG 15mm LWS Rod Support for SmallRig 2660 Matte Box, Anti-Twist Design, 20.5mm Vertical Adjustment - 3411

I bought this for use with the Smallrig Mini Matte Box Pro 3680. However, as the spec for it shows it is for use with the Smallrig 2660 Matte Box. The slot in the part which attaches to the Matte Box with the 1/4 20 screw is not wide enough for the 3680 model. I managed to widen this slot and it now works perfectly. See pic. Pity about the loss of paint :-)

This works great, with the matte box, if you have two filters on the end of a long lens it can get heavier than expected to be hanging off the end of a lens, so a support is great and helps support long lenses as well.

I purchased this with a SmallRig matte box. Do date I haven't used it as the matte box is pretty lightweight and works find just attached to my lenses. However if I was to use a long lens on a rig with rails then this mount will provide much needed extra support. As always with SmallRig an excellent quality product.

Good product, secures the small rig matte box on 15mm rails very well! The bottom screw is quite long and even though I have raised my rig another 10mm with a cheese plate it still sticks out of the bottom a lot!

Good value for money and supports the Smallrig Matte box well. Easy to release and lock in position on 15mm rails.I recommend this product in order to create a secure camera rig along with the matte box.

Very well made and the stability increase will be invaluable for creating smooth footage.

Great item for matte box, well worth the money.

Didn't like the middle bit, it's too long and makes putting the camera on a flat surface awkward as the camera will sit pointing upwards and might fall to the side. And much much shorter middle bit might be better as there probably won't be that much adjusting, well for me anyway but it is great apart from that.

I use this in my camera rig to keep my lens and matte box off the ground when setting down camera. Works good, high quality.

As much as I like the concept of this design, in practice is just an incredibly difficult to adjust, the weight of the matte box with with the filter inside it is just too heavy to be supported by this mount easily. It's entirely functional but very finicky to use.

Much better solution to mounting the matte box than directly on the lense. Nice adjustability. Good product.

Funciona bem e faz o que é suposto, mas é preciso ter cuidado com os parafusos de aperto, um pouco de tensão a mais e partem, já me aconteceu. A única solução depois é comprar outro.
