I've used one of these for a while now and bought another one for my wifeThey do get rid of thick layers of dry skin but it's slow going at firstOnce the worst of the dry skin is removed it's much faster once a week or so to keep it at bayFirst time I used it I had wet feet and it wasn't very effective - works much better on dry skinNeeds to be regularly cleaned (if need be with a nail brush after a long session) under the tap

I personally don't like the design and find it hard to hold, but my partner LOVES it and thisnia the second ine I have purchased for him

Got this to use on my feet, I literally used it once and before I was done using it the outer coat had already started peeling off.It's just a rubbery thing covered in abrasive sand, but this peels off really quickly meaning that I probably wouldn't be able to use this more than a couple of times. Would not reccomend.

It is the best foot files that i have ever brought it works for me on my hard skin on the ball of my foot it helps relieve the pain I use it everyday after soaking my feet excellent 10 out of 10 well done who ever invented this it is so easy to grip and fits any part of the foot

It's fairly easy to hold whilst smoothing my heels. Like other foot files, you can use it after soaking your feet or when using a spray shower (advice from a Chinese podiatrist). It has the same texture all over; it does not leave my feet feeling smooth which is why I then have to use a softer pumice to add the finishing touch. I'm still searching for a manual file to rival the wooden one (see images) I bought on holiday ten years ago.
