Q: does this shoe provide arch support

I have three pairs and love the shoes for the fit, the style and comfort. HOWEVER, the arch support is probably average and like many, I insert custom orthotics into the shoe. If I know I'll be walking on concrete for several hours I switch to a heavier made, work/train shoe by New Balance. The other great thing about the MEHOTO is how breathable and comfortable it is. I wear them around the house all day. CAUTION: The one weak spot on the shoe is the heel counter, the support behind your heel. I use shoe horns always to put on shoes and even with using a shoe horn every day, the interior of the heel counter tends to lose its rigidity and you feel a slight "wrinkle" in the material, right above the heel on your own foot. It doesn't make the shoe unwearable but it takes a few seconds longer to put it on, using a shoe horn. Also, some of this is particular to me as it only happens on the right foot shoe.

Q: Will these shoes slip on a wet surface?

I don’t recall slipping on wet surfaces, but the shoes are very thin. So the top of your feet will definitely get wet in the rain.
