This is an Excellent power supply. very well made and quiet!! wow! I use mine for mining and its running 6 x 3060ti fe + risers + motherboard + 6 x 120mm Fans and I still got room to spare. The 10 year warranty is a nice touch, shows EVGA is committed to their product and knows it has a quality power supply. I highly recommend it!

I waited for 20 days for this thing to get delivered and I only ordered it because of the solid reviews and the cost per watts was unbeatable. I was excited to recieve this fancy PSU, in fact it looks bad ass, the cables are built solid with insulation. Includes 6 VGA cables, great for mining and a IRRC 6 molex, 6 or 9 sata, 2 cpu. Long story short I finished loading linux and had to leave so I shut down my computer and returned an hour later and it would not boot so I pulled the power cable from the back of the PSU thinking I would let the residual power drain before trying to restart, upon pluging it into the back of the PSU there was small electrical spark, almost like static and I saw this from my peripheral vision so i''m not sure if it happened where I plugged it in or inside the enclosure however it rendered the PSU dead. I got it tested and a computer shop and they concurred. This PSU is currently backordered so if I wanted another I would have to wait a month for Amazon to restock. I called EVGA and they approved an Advance RMA, meaning I gave them my CC number for collateral and they are going to ship out my replacement unit immediately so I'm out a PSU for 3 days until it comes. As for as EVGA customer support, they were extremely friendly, accomodating and helpful. They informed me they are new to the PSU market and apologize for this issue and want to make this right, they sounded sincere and hopefully this is an isolated incident. I will try to update in a few months hopefully with positive reviews otherwise i'm returning and going with a corsair. ------ Update 2/24/2016 Psu has been running day and night since I received the replacement. I had 180 days up time at one point without a reboot. I also dropped the PSU on cement from about 18 inches. There has been no issues. Definitely worth every penny.

I purchased this product for $179.99 exactly on January 26, 2016. This power supply has gone through 2 high-end gaming PCs and 2 cases. This is the only unit that always gets transferred between builds. 10 years ago, I made the decision to buy a power supply that would not let me have to math any power requirements. This decision has proven to be the right one to date. This is the BEST build quality and craftsmanship I have seen in any PC hardware. My system is heavily used every day and often left powered on for days. I have never once had any issues with this power supply. I would buy any EVGA products without thinking anytime of the day. This company makes quality products to last and their customer service is the best. Thank you EVGA for being loyal to your consumers.

You probably don't need this, in fact, most people would probably get away with a 600W supply and still have lots of power left over. But, if you do want or need all this power this really isn't a bad choice. It is reasonably priced in the segment and built well for the money. It's quiet, especially so when installed as "overkill" since it is barely breaking a sweat. But there are two important things you need to consider before purchasing: 1) It's a large power supply, you really should check the specifications of your case first to make sure it's going to fit lengthwise. 2) The 80+ rating of power supplies is based on a moderate load, percentage wise, relative to the overall power capacity. If this power supply is going to be way overkill for your set up it is going to be running much less efficiently than you might otherwise believe. So again, it's up to you whether you want or need 1300W but just keep efficiency in mind if you happen to be attracted to the 80+ specification.
