Very Handsome Moon Knight Omnibus Containing Some of the Best Classic Moon Knight Stories
Moon Knight is my favorite superhero of all time (depending on who is writing him). The concept is very original: Marc Spector is left to die in the Egyptian desert but comes across a temple housing a statue of the Egyptian god of the moon Khonshu. Khonshu heals Spector (and possibly grants him superhuman powers) in return for his vow to serve as his avatar of vengeance on Earth. The problem is that Spector might have hallucinated all of this and is actually clinically insane as he suffers from disassociative personality disorder. So is he Khonshu's hand of vengeance? Or is he just a former soldier of fortune who likes to beat up criminals while dressed up in a bright white costume that attracts bullets? Again, it's a great character with great supporting players such as Moon Knight's pilot "Frenchie." You get a great hardbound copy of Moon Knight's first appearances (before he evolved into the character we know today) but more importantly, you also get the greatest Moon Knight stories published which includes the original Moon Knight series written by Doug Moench and illustrated by the great Bill Sienkiewicz (he develops his great experimental style here). This edition only goes up to issue 20 of the 1980-1984 series, so I really hope there's a second edition that includes the rest of the series, but this is the cheapest you are going to get this issues as Marvel's Epic Collection covering these issues goes for hundreds per copy (so look to spend at least over $200.00 if you get those copies used).

A Must Own for Moon Knight Fans
I've been a fan of Moon Knight since I was a kid in the 80s, and it's fantastic to have not only the first half or so of the excellent Moench/Sienkevitch run, but also every comic leading up to that, starting with his very first appearance in Werewolf by Night. There's no character quite like him, and writing and art are superb. This is an excellent omnibus. I'll definitely buy the next one.

Back when Moon Knight was really cool
Moon Knight has always been a tough character for Marvel to know how to write, but this omnibus collects his first appearances and team-ups, giving us the incredible beginnings of this awesome character. He was first brought in as an antagonist for Werewolf by Night, but soon got his own solo stories as back-ups to Hulk magazines and then became a regular in team-up books before getting his own series. When Marvel had a good writer for him, he was incredible. Collected here is not only his first appearances in Werewolf and others, but the complete back-up story from the old Rampaging Hulk magazines that gave us our first look at how dark the character could be (and really upped that Batman feel they were trying to go for). We also get the first few issues of his first solo series, when Marvel was truly getting a feel for the character. Of course, he really shines in team-ups and there is no shortage of them here with him appearing alongside Spider-Man, the Thing, Daredevil, and the Defenders. This collection is a solid one of great Moon Knight stories. If you love the character, you will absolutely enjoy this look at who he was before the rotating writers collection from today got to him and kept trying to make him crazier and crazier. He's still got some issues in here, but it doesn't overshadow the stories inside.

Awesome, high quality collection!
I ordered the book after finishing the Disney+ series because I wanted to learn more about the Fist of Khonshu. I was not disappointed! It contains so much: great art, awesome stories, and iconic characters! My only complaint is that when I recieved the book, the bottom left front corner was damaged, but I still love it!

Moon Knight rocks!!
This is an awesome collection of one of the biggest under the radar heroes in the Marvel Universe. It collects all his early stories and puts them together to be enjoyed in one place.
User

Beautiful artwork
This is such an awesome collection and with the art of Bill Sienkiewicz at its best this was when he had a Neal Adams style. It includes reproductions of the absolutely beautiful Moon Knight portfolio by Sienkiewicz. Looks great in oversized format.

A superb start to a unique hero
The earliest days of moonknight. It is a true pleasure to watch Doug (writer) and Bill (artist) develop over this series. The book is superbly made and expertly bound. Although I never read comics back in these days was still able to get a lot of enjoyment, standing up to the test of time.Highly recommend if you're curious.

Moon Knight Omnibus Vol 1
This omni seems to be great and with a lot of stories. It have great art, but I can tell that I appreciate the art of the second volume a little more. The important thing is that it arrived, and in perfect condition, but the delivery was significantly delayed, which wasn't directly Amazon's or the carrier's fault. Unfortunately, here in Brazil, fraud attempts are occurring at some point before, during, and after the customs process. This happened with this order, but I believe Amazon, in partnership with Skypostal, are truly working to combat this practice, and they certainly need our cooperation in notifying them when this happens.

FANTASTIC BOOK
Brilliant book, this collection has the essential stories you have to read if you're a fan of moon knight. From his debut in werewolf by night, specials, guest appearances and finally his own original comic. There is a fair amount of extra artwork at the back of the book as well. The book is well put together as with other books in the marvel omnibus series. If you are a fan of moon knight then buy this book you won't regret it

A must for any Moon Knight fan
I like that it included the Werewolf by Night 32 the first appearance of Moon Knight, which I've always wanted to read. The colours are really bright and really well done. The paper quality is great too.

It's pretty complete.
Books like this are awesome for fans due to their comprehensive nature. Moon Knight is an odd character and as a teen I found him really compelling. I've read about 95% of the material contained here, but having long since sold the bulk of my collection find these omnibus volumes a real treat.
