How long does an ant house last?

Any houses made of brick are harder. Straw homes are easier to get in. And i just checked, it says 3 months on the package, thats usually a generalized average due to the fact ghe ingredients that matter are 99.99% on the container, so its a mystery what even is inside these, could be simple as nicotine concentrate which is cheap, -and came from evolution as a plants mechanism against bugs. What im saying is not knowibg the chemical composition of whats inside it could be affected by humidity, dry air, or tons of variables. Also factor in the amount of ants. It says 3 . months on thr package i just checked for ya. I think longer if it works with your ants, some will disregard it, mainly because how it was previously stored befote you get it, or whatever -but we can't know cause the active ingredient is " OTHER INGREDIENTS " they change the kill food every decade or so , and don't tell the public what we are buying. And if we do it could change back if they felt like it. Ants also are evolving to a lot of things slowly, but in my lab research that's on going with a the company we noticed a change over 20 years using and buying raid. The chemical in it not long ago, maybe 10-15 years was basically amphetamine sodium & salts with other, dangerous to be in the same room with for 5~ hrs. Chemicals. This has been a 35 year examination into chemical pratices and companies with long going tests, nkt just solvents but we are finsing a frustratingly high spike in dangerous products coming from Amazon. We tested a face masks for sleep we saw a youtube video about, fid the research , and now the company is not sold on Amazon anymore. We used a device that I'm sure have gotten very cheap that detects anything with radioactive material inside. A little is/has become semi nornal.in things, dangerous in other regards. You wear a face mask directly touching the nose, is a good way to get cancer if used regularly. This is a new plage , and we use high end multi millon dollar machine we used . All the stuff we do is NGO. When i get back to work after being in hospital after getting spit on for wearing a mask the day i returned from Doctors without Borders unit helping get basic antibiotics to a site in Europe, Mostly Africa and England where stock is low. He got me in the eye bad, im on a respirator, and very foggy, so pardon a long winded reaponse to a simple question. I've been in hospital for a few months. Its getting to me. Tldr; 3, months. How do you activate the traps? Mine haven’t worked AT ALL.

The bait is inside you don’t have to activate them. I use all 8 in the back and it’s been working for me.

Is this good for red ants?

If you mean fire ants, then yes, this stuff does seem to work. The fire ants I'm referring towards are the red imported fire ants. The aggressive nasty biting ants in the southern US states that tend to build pretty large ant mounds. If the nest is pretty large, then it may take several baits and a few days to get rid of them.

No, these baits don't work on those types of ants. At least not the ones I have. I got those ants all over my kitchen. I put a couple of these baits down and the ants just run past them, ignoring them. They don't even go inside. Again, if the sweet ants are the tiny black ones that move around pretty quickly and absolutely LOVE that Terro stuff, then no, this stuff don't do squat.

Work quickly and efficiently on ants

These were great! I had a little red ants crawling all over in my half bath/laundry room. First only a few and then it quickly multiplied 200s I got these little traps rather than hire an exterminator that cost hundreds of dollars. Set eight of these down in front of my dryer – they seemed to be coming from under my dryer for some reason I expect they are in there in the lift that collects and I cannot get it to clean it out. Anyway, within three days, there was not an ant in sight now, I wonder if I should hang onto these that were used already for a future invasion or toss them because they were not that expensive. But I would highly recommend them for ant traps good product.

Works but needs human help

The product worked for me in my bedroom and bathroom. The problem is that the ants would not want to go inside of it and I had to help put a few in the corners so they can access it. Worked great ever since.

Got rid of ants fast

JUST GET THIS! We had THE WORST ant problem and had the house sprayed twice and still more ants. But within two days of putting these bad boys out, NO MORE ANTS! And they haven’t come back in over a week!Edit:1 month out and STILL NO ANTS!

Worked infinitely better than liquid bait

Stuff works. I had the Terro liquid traps around my kitchen for a week with zero interest from the ants and zero results. Tossed them and tried these (solid bait inside, no mess). Within first day saw dozens of ants going in and out. Within 2-3 days, no more ants. Haven’t seen any since. Have always been satisfied with Raid (wasp spray and ant spray), they didn’t disappoint this time either.

Didn’t See Much Difference

I had high hopes for these Raid Ant Killer Baits, but honestly, as far as I could tell, they didn’t stop any ants. I followed the instructions and placed the baits where the ants were most active, but the activity didn’t seem to decrease at all — if anything, the ants just kept coming.What I liked:Easy to use: Simple setup and no mess.Compact design: Easy to place around the house.But in the end, they didn’t seem to solve the problem for me. Maybe they work better in some situations, but I didn’t get the results I was hoping for.
