My key fob died when a battery let loose some of its fluid, and I needed a new fob but not a new key as if I used that fob it was alerting GM that my car was being stolen. This worked great. Found a video on how to replace the key end, (must knock the pin out of the old key and the new, keep one of the pins and reinsert). Then programmed and it works fine.

I was told by several people that to replace the key fob on my 2013 Malibu, it would cost me hundreds of dollars. The old fob(s) were used hard and the button covers were disintegrating. It was almost impossible to use the fob. I ordered these fobs, and the instructions were very easy. I did have to spend about 80 dollars to have the keys recut, but once that was done, pairing them with the car was quite easy. I am very happy with this purchase, and would recommend it for anyone who needs a new fob.

I bought these for my 2012 Camaro. Had to have a locksmith cut and program. The programming instructions did not work. That was not expected but okay. No chevy emblem on backside. Not bad , I just bought a fob cover to go on it to match my car. They seem to be sturdy. A little lighter than the oem. I have used for a couple weeks now with no issues. I would buy again.

Both chevy equinox keys locked and unlock doors 2 weeks. Now only on will unlock the door intermittently. Yesterday the car would not unlock or lock and it did not start my car for 30 minutes while the alarm blared. They sell you a BS warranty and will only send you a virtual gift card gor the price you paid for the blank keys NOT THE MONEY SPENT TO GET KEYS CUT. i am upset and want a refund that includes the cost of warranty and key cutting. DO NOT PURCHASE
