I'm really surprised by how effective this faux palm is - I love it! never really been into faux plants before to be honest, but I needed something to put in a place where a live plant wouldn't grow (with the added benefit of not being chewed on by my kitties!!) and this is exactly what I was looking for! The plant comes securely packed in a box with bubble wrap, the palm fronds are mostly wrapped separately in a bag inside the box when it arrives but it literally only takes a few minutes to take out and fit them into place on the stems, then you bend them into position so you can give it that realistic palm shape/customise the shape of your plant at the same time. All done! There are no instructions in the box but there is a card included that you can scan and it leads to a video of how to assemble it and shape it (the video is on the listing too so no need to worry if you can't scan it by phone) and is worth a watch as you can see how quick and easy it is to set up. It has a heavy base so it doesn't easily topple over (I placed mine in a decorative pot as well though as the pot it comes in looks basic). The shape is spot on and it's very well made in my opinion and not obviously plastic once it's all set up, in fact it looks brilliant so I would definitely buy more of these in future. Very good value for money and available in different sizes/styles as well as single or in pairs. If you're looking for a well designed faux plant I would highly recommend this one.

Not bad. Does look very realistic. Some other reviews state that it doesn't. However.. it all depends how long you take fanning it out. I spent about 45 mins to get it like this. May fiddle a little more, but that's more the OCD kicking in. As pictured.. 2 or 3 stems don't fit in perfectly. However, they sit better than some other peoples pics, that I've seen. If I'm honest.. its probably a bit overpriced. Maybe £10 less would be about right. But then, a real plant of same height and looking this healthy would set you back around £100+. I'm happy with it though. And if I'm honest, I may be coming back to buy another very soon.

From a far it's very realistic looking, as you get closer you can see the joins but that's not a big deal for me. It's very easy to assemble like flat pack furniture. The colour is very deep and rich green which adds to the realism. It's a very good height and has different lengths so it's not all uniform. Tiny bit wobbly but I found a good pot to put it in to provide that stability. Not bad value for money for the size.

This is actually a lot better than I was expecting, considering the cost one from Ikea would most likely be half the size I’ve had it in the floor but currently while it may look odd, in my room it looks pretty cool despite touching the ceiling, the colour is nice, quality is excellent as it looks pretty darn real, I’ve got it currently in an Ikea vase/plant pot and it’s easy to keep it stable, it can tip but that’s if you don’t have it straight, has this a few months now & I’m making sure I keep it in the room as helps make it feel more mature like

While the plant itself is relatively lifelike, the majority of the leaves had the ends bent over, which will be a laboriously slow job to straighten.

I have bought several of these for my home and cottage and love them! A few tips.... The fronds come a little crimped just from packaging, but they easily straighten out by either running your nail along them, or lightly with scissors, in the opposite direction, just as you would curl a ribbon. You then attach all the fronds to the stems and can then shape them to look however you like. In the pics you'll see the same tree, shaped totally differently to give either a very large dramatic look, like a classic palm, just by gently spreading out the stems at the base and leaving fronds straight, or if you leave the stems straight but gently bend over the ends of the fronds, you'll get a very classy, sleek and beautiful look. Put in a pot of your choice, add a bit of moss and you're all set!

Love it. It looks real if you don’t stare at it. It took a REALLY LONG TIME to pose all these stems to my liking. It was hard to tell which leaf stem went where until I installed them all. But it’s very durable and each part bends. Which helps it look realistic.

Esthetically, absolutely awesome. When it's sunny, the palm trees are really identical to the real ones. When it rains, the sound arising out of the drops provides a very relaxing atmosphere. It all depends where you place your trees. If you opt for a garden or a balcony, when it's windy, it is essential to place the tree inside a heavier cachepot and make sure it stands close to a wall. You can carry it easily and change its position, depending of the weather circumstances. Excellent palm tree, well packed and delivered as expected.
