HUION Drawing Tablet H420X Graphics Tablet with 8192 Level Pen Pressure

I enjoy drawing and wanted to try digital drawing but wasn't wanting to spend a lot of money on something I may not enjoy. So the price was perfect for me to try a drawing tablet without spending a lot of money. The tablet it small but still perfect for drawing and works great with my smaller hands. The software was simple and easy to set up and it works well with the free drawing software I found. The pen is responsive, though my fingers hit the buttons a lot which can cause problems, but that is not a product flaw. The tablet is pressure sensitive and responds well to even the lightest touch. I am also a heavy hand and it handles it well. If you are wanting to dip into digital art but don't have a lot of money, this is a perfect companion.

I love this new tablet!! It was a massive upgrade from my last drawing tablet! (H610PRO) This is very lightweight and not at all bulky like my last one. Super easy to install driver, took me a few minutes and worked fast! The pen is light and does feel cheap I but personally like it being lightweight. A very funny thing I noticed, while drawing the strokes on the tablet with my pen, I wasn't making much noise while I drew. Now I love controls and buttons, especially on the top drawing tablet for music, so I don't have to reach for my keyboard or mouse to click or change songs. Just be careful though, they're very touch sensitive when you adjust your tablet while sitting, but for the most part it doesn't bother me. Having a battery-free stylus is such a lifesaver and makes drawing more convenient for me. I didn't experience any lag and the drawing process was pretty smooth and seemed to run well. The only problem I had was unable to connect the USB adapter to my phone. Nothing popped up at all that registered the drawing tablet. I restarted my phone and app to see if that was a problem but nothing suggested it. Not a deal breaker for me and works perfectly on my pc and that's all I can really ask for!

I’ve been using this drawing tablet while teaching my students, and it’s been a great addition to my classroom setup. The tablet responds smoothly, and writing feels natural — almost like using a real pen on paper. It makes demonstrations, note-taking, and step-by-step explanations much clearer for students to follow, especially during digital lessons. It’s also lightweight and easy to carry between classes, which I really appreciate. There is a bit of a learning curve at first, especially if you’re not used to drawing while looking at the screen instead of your hand. But once you get comfortable, it becomes second nature. I also wish the pen had a slightly stronger feel to it — it works well, but it’s a little on the lighter side. Overall, it’s a reliable and very useful tool for teaching, tutoring, and presenting. It makes lessons more interactive and engaging, and for the price, it performs really well. I definitely recommend it for educators who want a simple, effective tablet for digital instruction.

I originally got the Huion Q11k because of the wireless ability, but it was too big personally (hand had to travel quite a bit to reach different ends of the tablet). I ended up going for this one because it was newer, smaller (but still not small small), and it had more buttons, a Usb-C connector, etc. I've only used it a few times so far but have enjoyed it. My biggest gripes are how light/cheap the pen feels (the pen with the Q11k had a battery and still felt too light/cheap, this one has no battery in the pen and is even lighter). The buttons feel cheap on the pen as well. I'd much prefer a heavier and sturdier pen, preferably made of aluminum or another metal, or a durable plastic with weights inside. The pen cradle that came with this one was also a small, lightweight plastic holder, whereas the pen holder in the Q11k had a metal base which was heavy enough to keep it stable on your desk and upright without flipping over. This one feels like a cheap afterthought. I also wish the tablet/pen were more sensitive when hovering the pen over the tablet as a mouse. I've found Wacom tablets I've used you can have the pen higher off the tablet than the Huion before it loses signal. Last thing was I wish the USB C connector was on the top-left corner, like the Q11k, rather than the center of the left side. I am happier it has a usb-C connector than the micro-USB connector, however. Overall, I'm happy, however, and think it will do great. Huion makes these at a steal compared to Wacom, for still great quality. I really hope they can start improving the quality of their pens.

My goal was to get a graphic drawing pen for use on an older Windows 10 PC, newer Windows 11 laptop and an Android phone (Android 12), all without a touch screen. I wanted one that was small and portable I could use to sign documents, write notes, and make sketch diagrams. This exceeded my expectations. For all 3 devices, I was able to attach the device and it just worked. That's a first! No driver install required. There is device software you can install for Windows (or a Mac, which I don't have) that provides more customization, but at this point, I have no need for it. I can't speak to how it would work for artists, since I can barely draw a happy face, but for the 3 uses I got it for, it works fantastic. I have tried other devices that were considerably more money that all fell short. For the price point on this one, I would highly recommend trying it out. I am now a hug fan of Huion.

I wanted to get back into drawing and thought I'd give digital a go after trying a pad years and years ago and getting frustrated. I happened on this via a list of product reviews by an art site, and figured $20 was more than worth a shot for how much people seem to like it. Oh, my god, this thing is so FUN! It's very small, but once I got used to it, it's not a problem, at all. The software even lets you dictate the active area, so my gigantor Photoshop canvas is not even an issue like I thought it would be. Very easy to use, the software is great and simply designed, so it's easy to navigate and get everything set up just how I like it, including smoothness. My only gripe is the buttons on the pen are too easy to accidentally click because I guess the way I hold drawing instruments causes them to rotate in my fingers. But you can set the buttons to not do anything, so it's not a big deal. I'll save all that shortcut/hotkey stuff for when I graduate to a fancier pad, and probably another Huion!

Sensitivity not adjustable, works but need to practice for best results.

Uma mesa robusta! Ela é grande e muito bem feita. Achei a caneta maior do que deveria, pois usava uma mesa da Wacom e sua caneta era similar a uma de verdade, praticamente. Entretanto, isso não desabona a qualidade desta mesa. O cabo USB C aparenta ser muito forte, as teclas são um diferencial para atalhos e ela possui alta sensibilidade. Usarei mais e retorno depois para confirmar ou mudar minha opinião. Por ora, é uma 5 estrelas!

I like it for 3D painting, just remember if you're changing settings in the diver you should halt and restart the program or else you will get unexpected results.

Recentemente, por estar muito tempo fora de casa, me surgiu a necessidade de adquirir uma mesinha pequena e que funcionasse em celulares para desenhar no tempo livre. Comprei confiando nos comentários e não me arrependi! Funcionou instataneamente no meu celular, e já veio com porta de entrada atualizada, e um adaptador. A caneta veio com várias pontas extras. Preço super viável para maioria dos bolsos, e de uma marca de qualidade! O aparelho realmente é bem pequeno, se duvidar, menor até do que alguns aparelhos celulares. Para quem está começando e não quer arriscar com aparelhos de preços exorbitantes que vemos por aí, super recomendo aquisição! Também para quem quer praticidade no dia a dia e aproveitar o tempo livre fazendo suas artes. Só não acho que seria confortável para artistas profissionais. Mas isso não quer dizer que não dê de fazer excelentes ilustrações com ele, basta paciência. As instruções recomendam instalar o app Huion Sketch mas achei o aplicativo bem fraco, então instalei outro e funcionou perfeitamente bem. Recomendo se atentarem as especificações para funcionar em celulares
