Resurrecting my guitar!
Never really gave too much thought on compression until I've stumbled on a few reviews raving on the Greer Fish Press (especially the Curtis Kent clip on Youtube) and decided to give it a go. At first, right out the box, before plugging it in, the rather stoic-looking stompbox didn't impress me - just two simple knobs to tweak your tone. But when I turned it on, wow! Unbelievable! I was simply awestruck with the bright timbres that spilled out of the speakers - was that my guitar coming out of the amp?!?! I have an archaic Les Paul, which sounds decent on its own, but I never, ever thought I could light up its tone and color the way the Greer effect did - absolutely amazing! I must say, this pedal has added another & totally new dimension to my guitar tone and am currently addicted to it - a necessary addition to any guitar rig. Brilliant!
