Does it have to be aacer predator desktop computer or can any desktop computer with the right sizing fit inside this case

it could be just about any normal sized computer, but the foam and case where sized for the Acer computer... and any other one requires you to modify the foam yourself.

Does this withstand getting checked in on international flight? Weight with PC included far exceeds the 5kg limit for carry-on luggage...

Yes it absolutely does... mine has made it to Armenia and Saudi Arabia with no problems...

Does it hold just the desktop? or can it hold the dual psu/ keyboard and mouse? i don't expect to carry a monitor obviously but wanted to know.

Yes, the foam inside is molded to fit the desktop, keyboard, mouse and AC adapter.

Are the product dimensions for the interior of the case? As in a computer that measured 9x17x17 (my current computer) would fit inside?

The product dimensions are exterior. The foam inserts are designed for the G1-710 desktop which measures Height 16.5" high, 4.3" wide and 13.9" deep so you may need to modify the foam to fit a different case.

Great Case-Even if you don't have the PC this case goes with!

I purchased this case to transport my new Micro-ATX build, and I am very impressed. The case on my build is a Rosewill Line-M (dimensions 15.75 x 7.3 x 14.4 inches), and I was originally concerned that it would not fit in the Predator case. Luckily, after removing some of the foam, I had no problem strapping the PC in and locking the case. There was even enough room for cables, a keyboard, and a mouse. The case sports a TSA-approved combination lock, which I use regularly. I highly recommend this case.
