Air Plants: All you need to know about Air Plants in a single book!

I cannot believe I just paid ten bucks for this POS! Like others said it’s more like a pamphlet! Only 30 pages long, no pics, and large print so, if it was normal print it would be less pages! Hell, I should get a refund for the “drain bamage” reading this leaflet is going to cause! I have purchased, Air Plants: The Curious World of Tillandsias, from Amazon and read it and I am currently reading, Air Plant Care and Design: Tips and Creative Ideas for the World’s Easiest Plants, also purchased from Amazon, and I could use this so called “book” as a friggin bookmark in these two very real, thick, heavy books, that have actual glossy pictures in them! This is a charlatan of a book if I ever saw one! Save your money and buy a real book!

Frankly shocked by all the great reviews this 'book' has received. At a mere 30 pages, it's little more than a pamphlet with no photographs or specific information about the many varieties of air plants that exist. I have only rudimentary knowledge of air plants, but I feel I could have written this book myself.A much better choice for a few dollars more would have been AIR PLANTS: THE CURIOUS WORLD OF TILLANDSIAS by Zenaida Sengo. It's a REAL book and includes very specific information about the various types of air plants and how to properly care for each one. It also has several beautiful photographs. Unfortunately my copy is currently in storage ... so after posting this review I will happily purchase a second copy as a reference guide. It's a much better value for the money.

Air plants are a great way to make your life more colorful while you are living in a city apartment and don't see any plants around you. These plants don't need a soil to grow and are designed for people like that. This book teaches you how to shop and buy air plants that best suits you and your apartment, creating perfect enviroment for your plant and how to maintain it. This book is pretty short but make no mistake, it's very informative. It just shows that you shouldn't have excuses and it's very fast and straightforward way to introduce more colors in your life.

This book is very helpful in understanding how to manage air plants and know the types of plants that grow in air. In this book also are tutorials on how to grow them in such a way that it won't live in a short period of time only. This book is very informative and it has explained well the characteristics of air plants. This book makes me want to grow these kind of plants right away. I am very much amazed of this book.

Short and to the point, I'm new to 16 air plants and so far, all is well. This book explains the basics for me clearly. I see a pup on one of my plants and it's nice to know that section is addressed in this short read too. I have mine under florescent lights and I'm wondering if I should move them further away , 6 or 7 inches above a cool grow light. According to info in this book, bright indirect light is what these plants like. Over all the information is very helpful

Air plants for the home have been around for years. Popularity is returning and this book has good information. Air plants are great little plants that fit almost anywhere. If you are new to them,this book will be a must read.

I liked how it went into the different plants, planters, and environment for these plants. However, I thought it might help if they had some pictures to see so that you had an idea of what they looked like. It would.have helped to be able to see what you.might want around your area.

Liked the article about Air Plants. I have had mine since last April. Purchased it from the Pennsylvania Flower Show. Still learning how to take care of it. It has flowered, a pretty purple. Thanks for the helpful hints. I have mine in a sea shell in a glass display case.

Enjoyable,would of been nice to look at some good photos. Showing before and after or start and finished would have been.

It would have been good if there was some information on the actual Tillie's.There was info on how to look after them but no details of the actual Tillie's.

Just bought my first air plant's. This book is a great book to get a beginner started. Informative but not over complicated
