Good looking, even heat distribution and easy to clean.

My first Viking cookware. For me this is an expensive splurge on myself. I like that both the sides and bottom of this pan are thick. This allows me to use a lower gas flame and to turn it off early on things like my Oatmeal. The heat retained in the pan with the lid on finishes the oatmeal without it scorching to the bottom and texture is perfect. The pan pretty much wipes clean with quick hand wash. I was concerned that the sides of the pan did not have a "lip" or pour spout for liquids and pouring but I have had no issues so not as big of a deal as I thought it may be. The lack of a lip seems to also have a benefit of when the lid is on condensation building in the lid from heating process can't drip down the side of the pan. First time I use the pan the inside bottom when heating soup on a medium heat caused a rainbow of blue and purple color marks on the bottom inside of the pan. However I followed the advice of other reviewers and purchased a product to clean stainless. I used Cameo (by Brillo off Amazon in a two pack) which took the discoloration off with very little effort and it looks like new again. It also cleaned up stainless stock pots I have used for 25 years beautifully. I like the brushed finish on these Viking pans as it makes the shinier lid handle and pan logo handle stand out more. This is bling for my stove :-). The 2 quart is a useful everyday size for me. I stopped doing veggies in the microwave as this pan steams them faster than I am accustomed to and I swear the flavor is better also. I would love to own more of these someday, eyeballing the Viking stovetop kettle as my old one is falling apart!

I love this pan, definitely keeping it. But just wanted to let everyone know that dimensions listed for 2qt Saucepan are wrong. Actual diameter is 7.3” height is 3”, and handle only length is 8”.

I did not know this pot was used until it was delivered. I never used it. I washed it to see if some of the blemishes would disappear I am very unsatisfied with this itemIt should have been disclosed that it was a used pot I would like a refund. Please send me a return label. Thank You

What can you say, you get what you pay for. Wish I had every size!!

Cooks well.

Outstanding look. Cooks evenly with less burner. Simmers perfectly without burning at much lower heat.
