I love the size, weight and look of this product very much the only issue I have it with its lock. I wanted to put my rings on this, on my keychain, during work so I would not have to worry about them. After having this a couple months it has worked great and 9 times out of 10 the lock stays tight and closes. but every once and a while I will find my rings off the hook and the secure lock undone. I know this is happening in my pocket but that's why I bought this screw design, so this wouldn't happen. thats why I give it 4 stars, I will keep them I just wish they were better.

I purchased these to secure the zipper on my over the shoulder sling back pack to be used in Venice and the Mediterranean on a recent vacation. There were several warnings about beware of pick pockets, especially in crowded areas.I used this lightweight, yet sturdy, carabiner to secure the zipper on my back pack where I had my camera gear and some tickets. While on a very packed water bus in Venice, someone unsnapped a clip on the back pack, but could not get into the secured compartment. Well worth the cost and need to unscrew the lock to get to my things when needed. Saved the fun of my trip.

These carabiners are extremely lightweight as you would expect from titanium. The problem is with the threaded barrel. It pulls apart very easily allowing the carabiner to bend under a relatively light load. I can easily pull them apart with my fingers. Next time, I will look for something stronger even if I have to accept more weight from an aluminum carabiner.
