Dual SIM Phone That Will Work with AT&T in the US
AT&T (deliberately?) failed to qualify any dual SIM phones (other than a super-expensive Samsung) prior to turning off its older network a month or so ago, and bricking every phone I owned, including the ones that the AT&T support people assured me would work after the cut-off. Their solution: buy our super-expensive Samsung phone! NFW. Based on another review of this phone, I bought it, moved my AT&T "5G" and T-Mobile SIM cards into it, and.... voila: everything works as expected (see screenshot). This is a fine phone, and a lifesaver for those of us who need dual SIM capabilities, and are doomed to the tender loving care of AT&T.

Make sure it arrives undamaged.
I'm certain the phone is fine if it arrives intact. Mine had a damaged volume button upon arrival. (Note, phone may be inoperable upon reset if volume control is damaged) After having returned (spending my own money to do so) the phone to NGP with request to return, refund, or replace, NGP refunded half the cost of a phone they shipped to me damaged, (refunded, less 374 dollars 'restocking fee') essentially charging me half the cost of this phone; which I no longer possess and they likely will be able to resell, refurbished, after replacing one part. To say that I am profoundly disappointed with the way this matter was resolved somewhat understates the fact. This is a dream phone, in theory. This experience was horrible in practice.

Questions answered for the US citizens
Ok so first major question will it work on At&t. That is a major yes. So allow me to put your mind at ease, at&t has cleared this VOLTE but I don't believe 5G yet. If you look at the at&t approved volte list it says asus zenfone 8 (1006D). I spent so much freaking time trying to find the 1006D because if you know sony int versus sony US the numbers make a difference on if they will actually work on a gsm network in the US. It turns out this is definitely the 1006D. Once I confirmed that I ordered it, and it arrived, it came with an int charger, but also an adapter for the US. So then I popped my sim in and the gsm started working when I turned mobile Data on. The other beneficial part is this is the dual sim which works far better in the US. If you search online there is an A and B version. B has dual Sim, the A doesn't. The B version works far better in the US because it can connect to more towers. All of these are things to be aware of. Otherwise I love the phone, it works great, came with a charger and a case. It is definitely White an it is amazing. It will only work on t mobile and att because of GSM. Another reason why Verizon sucks. Hope this helps to remove purchase anxiety. I'll follow up in 3 months on the phones quality
