My test results
First - I did not get this at discount neither was solicited for a review. Just wanted to share my test results. I did this analysis because first connecting only 180W of load inverter beeped and shut down - I thought "another fake" and had to do measurements...It's appeared Inverter shut down because my battery dropped voltage bellow 10v ! Well this might be the case if inverter draws too much current for a given load output ... here are results:1. the maximum output power I was able to get 330W with 250CC volume battery which held voltage above 10v allowing this much of current/power output. Inverter did not overheat at all and held it easily powered until battery dropped voltage to 10.5v at which point Inverter started beeping warning! (Surprise - description does not even mention that this inverter has intelligent audio buzzer warning). Cooling fan is all speed on.2. As battery volts drop bellow 10.0v inverter shuts down (just as per user manual). Fan is still on to cool.3. If reducing the load to the point that battery recovers voltage to 11.0v -alarm beeping stops. Here you see a hysteresis implemented - shutting down at 10.5v yet recovering at 11.0 volts - this indicates that cooling will start dropping only when voltage is high enough....4. Fan is indeed intelligent - fan speed changes in steps subject to the internal temperature. The highest speed I had only when load was 330w. At 180w speed was so low that I did not know whether fan is working or not ( I admit inverter was still cool )5. About efficiency: tested amps between 12v battery and inverter in relation to the known wattage of the bulb: loading with 90w bulb I got 8.5 amps = ~102w ... from 102W lighting 90W bulb just about 90% efficiency.I am impressed when product exceeds the advertised description: not only performs as promised but also provides intelligent audio alarm which I did not see in Amazon description page. Beeping is of 2 kinds: one to inform that it is close to limit but still ON, another beep which notifies s that it shut down.If I were to change something (to be picky:) I would make fan spinning faster starting from something like ~150W just to be sure because I don;t care about noise - I only care about not overloading... but to be honest so far it was quite cool in my experiments. Also I'd suggest the seller to add information about Audio alarm feature - it is very useful as user will not always seat next to the device to know about alarm condition.Highly recommended.

Terrible!
This worked on and off for me, initially. It stopped working entirely after second use in the first day of use! It is entirely possible this particular unit was not powerful enough to support my needs. I was able to use my electronic pump to fill 2 air matresses but it was a bit of a conflict, having to start and stop. I attempted to use my bottle warmer with no luck and my electric skillet with no luck. My previous inverter lasted me many years through all kinds of equipment (electronic pump, bottle warmer, breast pump). Luckily it was cheap!

Didn't work at/below freezing temperatures
I received the item in winter and tried to test it at around freezing temperature - no go until it warmed up. For the price I'd say it's an okay product.

I have tested the usb power and my surface pro ...
I have tested the usb power and my surface pro 3 on a couple occasions with no problems. I have had some issues with a few other models in the past but this is very quiet and does not get warm/hot.

Great product!
Great product. Used it in a parade to run lights and it worked great hooked up to the vehicle battery. I would recommend this for back up power source.
