Will this game work on an Atari 2600?

Worked perfectly on my 7800! Not sure if it's backwards compatible for the 2600 though?😂😂

Is this the same as the Metroid Prime 4 preorder that went up a while ago? Or is this a different game?

If this was a numbered game in the series it would be: Metroid/Metroid Zero Mission=Metroid 1 Metroid II: Return of Samus/Metroid Samus Returns=Metroid 2 Super Metroid=Metroid 3 Metroid Fusion=Metroid 4 Metroid Dread=Metroid 5 Metroid Prime is a First Person Shooter series, we have only a title for Prime 4 and nothing else. speculated release for Prime 4 is sometime in 2022 but that given that we haven't even seen early footage of the game I have my doubts.

Does this have amiibo support?

Yes it supports 8 amiibo. It supports the 2 new amiibo of Samus and Elaine the E.M.M.I. from Dread, the 2 amiibo from the Metroid 2 Samus Returns 3DS remake featuring Samus and the Baby Metroid amiibo, and all 4 Smash Bros amiibo work. Samus, Zero Suit Samus, Dark Samus, and Ridley. The 2 new Dread amiibo give you extra missiles and an extra energy tank then give you a daily refill after the first use. The rest all restore your health and missiles once a day.
