I picked up the Egofine 46-piece socket set primarily for my step-son to have on hand at college. He drives a Japanese vehicle, which only accepts metric tools, and I wanted him to be prepared for any minor fixes. Honestly, I wasn't expecting too much given the price point for a 1/4 inch drive set. However, I was genuinely surprised by how good, strong, and sturdy these tools feel in your hand. They seriously resemble much higher end, more expensive tools I've used before. This set includes a great range of metric sockets and bit sockets, perfect for light auto repair or household tasks. The Chrome Vanadium Steel with the mirror finish really gives it a quality feel. Plus, it all comes in a handy storage case, which is super convenient for portability. Needless to say, these are fantastic tools for an amazing price point.

Never figured that I would need the small set. But then again I never thought the tire on my mobility chair would go flat. These work fantastic on my mobility chair and then and I started looking around the house and then I'm looking I find it comes in a whole lot more handier than I had imagined. But I couldn't go anywhere for a few days because I couldn't change the tire without this little set don't get caught like I did if you have anything that you think would require the use of this it's a great price it's really nice little set I recommend it to anybody

I ordered this tool set because I like having simple tool sets in my work truck as well as at home so im never having to search for tools. I liked the price point on this set and fast shipping, and noticed it gets mostly great reviews. One of the big pluses is that it includes an adapter for angled work. I didnt have one of those before, so its nice to have it in case I need to get at a screw or nut thats at an angle or in a tight corner or something. The reason I knocked a star off is because of the CASE. Some of the attachements fit too loose in the case, they dont SNAP in, so they just fall out all over the place if youre not really careful. Usually I have the opposite problem with tool cases, they tend to hold the bits and pieces TOO tightly and I have to PRY them out. But I would rather have that problem than this one. Still,its a GREAT deal for a set of VERY useful tools that seem to cover most of the more common household/ auto small jobs. I recommend.

Purchased this kit because I'm always misplacing my 5mm t-handles. Pretty impressed with the quality of this little kit. Has pretty much everything you'd need to do basic maintenance on a motorcycle, bicycle, or even a car, and the kit is nicely organized. I'm also pretty impressed with the quality of the sockets. You're not getting snap on sockets, but these aren't too bad - especially given the price.

I could not loosen my battery terminal clamps. They were on so tight. No wrench or pliers worked because of the limited space. I bought this socket set hoping it would be what I needed. I needed metric, but this set has both. It was a breeze. I am 67 years old, and now I have to do these things for myself. I didn’t think I could do this, but I did. This is a nice set.

This is a very good American/metric socket set. I wish I bought it the first time. It has all the sockets and accessories one needs to either use a socket wrench or a ratchet screwdriver. Highly recommend this socket set. Very useful.

This socket set is kind of a mixed bag for me. On the positive side, the materials themselves feel durable and well made. The sockets and ratchet seem like they can hold up to regular use without any issues, which I do appreciate. That said, the overall system isn’t the easiest or quickest to assemble and use. During use, some of the pieces have a tendency to fall off, which can be frustrating—especially when you’re in the middle of a task and just want things to stay put. Taking it apart and reassembling it also isn’t very efficient compared to other sets I’ve used. Overall, it’s a decent set with good-quality components, but the design and usability keep it from being great. With a more secure and user-friendly system, this could easily be a higher-rated product.
