This is the BMW of pens. It's ergonomic design is well thought out and the look is sleek and elegant. I first discovered the world of Lamy Pens overseas at Schipol Airport in Amsterdam, while pursuing through the display case at the inside terminal. I had a few Euro's left, so I figured why no buy a pen, little did I know at the time that it would become my favorite pen of all time.It does everything a pen should do, which is write smoothly when you require a writing instrument. I can't tell you how many times in my life, I had to try and get a pen to write by scribbling on scrap paper; but with this fine German engineered M16 Medium cartridge, it's never been a problem. The pen proves itself over and over to be reliable.The design of the end cap is one of my favorite aspects of this pen, to engage the point, just use any part of the back of the pen. Most ballpoint pens just have a little metal part sticking out, but Lamy engineers made it the entire back of the pen. Also, the spring clip, is a true spring mechanism.There are a few versions of this pen, but the L206 is the best bang for your buck. It is fully metal and therefore more bulletproof then the other versions and looks better IMHO.Write on!

So, I should preface this by saying that I typically absolutely HATE ballpoints, I am a fountain pen guy. However as a med student I'm finding that I need to have a good go-to ballpoint and bought this one on a whim. I honestly thought I would hate it, especially because the front is so elongated, but I have to say that it is fantastic! You really don't notice the elongation much at all. I think perhaps it's best feature (other than the fantastic brushed finish) is that the grooves in the metal are quite grippy and there aren't that many pens out there like this (think Rotring 600). This has really helped me hold onto the pen and I notice that my hands get tired slower (the major reason I hate ballpoints) due to not having to grip it as hard. It is pretty light and I wish it were just a bit heavier but for 15$ this seems a very high quality instrument, the fit and finish is pretty immaculate. Highly reccommended.

Ink cartridge included is just meh. Oil-based ink is a bit more viscous than expected, but writes ok. The pen itself feels kinda cheap, and the "click" is not as refined as I would expect from Lamy. Overall, it might make a good gift to someone who isn't a pen snob.

I love this pen to therefore I may be biased it’s light it works, and it’s a thing of beauty and in this day and age any company that defiantly sells pens with blue ink gets my full support. The cost is outrageous!

This is a lovely pen. I decided to try it after reading an article about an author who uses only the Lamy brand to do his rough drafts. I confess to being a bit of a pen collector, but not of particularly high end models. This feels sturdy in the hand, and has enough texture to stay put in a comfortable writing position. It is one of the few pens I've had that doesn't develop little blobs of ink on the ball point after a few paragraphs. I like to handwrite my notes and cards on nice quality stationery, so the clean lines from this pen suit that purpose perfectly. I also have Paper Mate, Parker, Pilot, Foray, and Zebra pens, and I like this one best. My hands are decent sized for a smallish person, and I write large, so the extra length between the rings of the barrel's gripping area and the point of the pen made this model an excellent choice for me.

Germany is known for their excellence in manufacturing goods such as the Volkswagen, BMW, and Mercedes. Add this pen to it. An excellent, durable piece. I take it to work with me daily and it faithfully works.You will be satisfied with this pen.

I'm a fan of Lamy ballpoint pens, having a Safari and a considerably more expensive Accent. They offer lots of great styles, materials, and color options. The Logo is no exception. There are several versions, including one in brushed stainless, and others in all plastic. I chose this one with the barrel in steel and the plastic parts in blue. All similar Lamy's use the same M16 cartridge. It works fine, and lasts a long time. The retraction mechanism feels solid. The Logo barrel is slimmer overall than the all plastic Safari. The clip is upscale, being a spring loaded pivoting design. Just slightly more expensive than the Safari, the Logo offers more style and heft. Bottom line: if you are new to Lamy, I'd recommend the Safari as a starter. Then explore their other designs, like the Logo.

It meets all advertised criteria as stated. Easy to use, lightweight and has a good sharp writing point. I expect to be using it a long time

If you know your pens you’ll know why you are looking at Lamys, robust, quality and bomb proof. Mine have been through the washing machine twice (not on purpose I might add) they didn’t leak either time and after a quick dry both worked perfectly. The clip is strong and won’t give out on you, but again, if you’re looking at Lamy you’ll know that!

A great pen. Packaging is lited, but at this price, is that a surprise. I have had it before but lost it. It is a super solid and just a plain good pen that i thoroughly enjoy using.
