You need to correctly install it before use, the quality of wood isn't the best, but looks cute
You can see other reviews that it is unusable, I thought the same when it was delivered. Just look to picture of installation, the counter part of the shelf must be twisted a little by hand to make it horizontal

Don’t recommend this at all!!!! Unstable! Cannot hold the weight of three pairs of shoes, keeps folding down!I gave it a one star because it looks pretty, that’s it’s!!! Pretty but useless!!!!
