It's admittedly a great phone for a lesser techno-minded individual, but was a pain in the bum to set up. Instructions are very basic and don't say much about the SIM set up or memory card or any of the phone's settings at all really. SIM on the 3 network didn't connect for some reason but managed to get it to work on 02. It was hard to find the option to change ring tone and text tone. No predictive text option and no left / right buttons either, not a bad thing, just unusual and took us by surprise. Phone also got very confused and made the files unreadable just because I renamed the micro SD card when adding music and picture files, so, don't do that.Once set up is finally finished, it seems like a nice phone that my mum will be able to find her way around easily. Big buttons and the SOS button are a very nice touch and works very well. Charging is sufficient by the dock or by cable, and holds it's charge all day so far.

love the colour. its a bit slow change in from letters to numbers when typing a message.I would also like to let you know about the delivery. It says it was handed to the resident, it wasnt it was lefton# the door step I found it by chance. not happy about that

Bought this phone today and it has exceeded my expectations. It has a bright clear display, and an easy to use menu. It comes with big buttons and speed dialling where one prolonged key press will dial a 11 digit mobile number. I know this is all, "old hat" these days, but for someone elderly it avoids having to remember and dial those 11 digit numbers! It may need a little setting up for those elderly who really can't function that well, but the whole thing took me less than 10 mins and the menu system is very intuitive. For this price, there is no WIFI, but there is Bluetooth. There are two sim slots available should you wish to switch between work and personal phone numbers or get better signal with one provider over another. I have to admit I did find some difficulty inserting the sim but managed it okay. In general, SIM cards come in 3 sizes; Standard, Micro and Nano. This phone takes the larger Standard sims. And so, if you get a modern sim, it helps if you don't break it out of it's standard size retainer, but keep it as it is. Additional: Inserting the sim is easy, you just need to gently lift up the metal retaining clip for the sim with your fingernail, insert the sim and then gently press the metal retaining clip back into place.

Bought this phone for my elderly uncle. And it was useless! Always disconecting when talking on phone.

Unfortunately I had to return this phone as after 4 days my Aunt had only been able to receive one 10 minute call. She put the phone back on the base to charge, it would show charging then eventually fully charged. Without being used the phone would then become dead after a few hours. It also states hearing aid compatable and very loud volume. The ringer sound is loud but volume when speaking low

Bought this for my 94 year old Nan who is losing her sight. She finds it easy to use and see the buttons and allowed her to keep in touch after an operation. The battery is excellent and the stand is useful for her to keep it in easy reachVery happy with my purchase, worth every penny

I am of the opinion that pay as you go may seem economic, but the system is arranged so that credit is gobbled up in ways other than me making phone calls. Next time I will purchase a smart phone. There's a good reason they are so named! I feel that PAYG is one big rip off!

Perfect for what I need it for. For the price, it even has a camera. Very easy to set up and alarm is very useful and easy to set. My only complaint is that there is no case available to fit it.
