I put paper towel in the box, filled the sink with water and dropped this box in it. The box floated. I pushed the box to submerge it. As soon as I moved my hand, the box resurfaced. I left the box in the sink for half and hour. I opened the box and the paper towel stayed DRY!!.

The box is very well built. I haven't tested its water proof characteristics yet, but it certainly locks tightly. I do wish I had ordered a slightly larger size. Very rugged looking box.

This box is excellent to store keys in and other small valuables that I don't want stollen at the lake. I didn't like hiding my keys in my vehicle when I kayaked and now I don't have to. This box is great and I recommend it.

Kept my phone and keys safe and dry. Would fit a couple phones or phone and wallet. Only complaint is that it didn't come with a strap

Would be better if there were bigger sizes available in this model.
