I trust this brand completely. I have had 2 screen protectors from this brand. The first was for my iPhone se. I dropped that phone down a flight of concrete stairs twice in my dorm building and not a crack. It finally cracked after I dropped it off my lofted bed (but my phone was 100% okay). I also have supershieldz on my iPad and luckily haven’t had to test the durability on that. With that being said, this was only brand I would buy for my new iPhone. These are very easy to install. The instructional videos online help a lot too if you get confused. BE WARNED: this screen protected will NOT cover the whole screen. The edges are rounded on the iPhone 8 and this protected does not cover the rounded edges. Upon researching, supershieldz does have a full coverage tempered glass that may cover the rounded edges that I will be looking in to purchasing. Pros: -easy to install -durable -do not get air bubbles or discoloration marks over time as with some protectors -amazingly affordable Cons: - doednt cover the rounded edges, leaving the edges of the screen vulnerable to breakage

I would just want to emphasize how great this product is. I’ve had it on my expensive iPhone for almost a year and a half. I always safeguard our many different devices’s screens with Supershieldz. My fam gives me a hard time because they can’t use a new device until I put a screen on. My family members drop, bump, throw, whatever, their devices’ and so far none have had a broken screen. Well yesterday I dropped my phone onto the edge of a thick glass table and it landed on the floor. 😳 When I picked up the phone it looked damaged with a crack already spreading. I was thinking I’m going to have to take my phone in pronto and the $$ I was going to have to spend to fix it. Well, I looked at my phone closer, and realized the screensaver was what was broken and cracking. I didn’t want to take the Supershielz off until I had a new one. In less than 24 hrs ( thanks Amazon !! ) I received my new one. Just the screensaver was smashed and my phone’s glass was saved !! Whew. This is worth the money. It’s not that complicated to put on. If you do have questions...go to the website listed in the instructions and view the informative video. I have a lot of ‘important things’ ( to me ) in my phone but thanks t o t a l l y to this product I can proceed with the rest of my weekend !! Thanks !! :)

easy to install / quality and price

This kit arrived in a very professional, sturdy container that included two microfiber cloths at roughly 2"x3", two 70% alcohol wipes to get fingerprints off, and some stickers for positioning and removing dust. Neat idea with the sticker to pick up dust. The alignment stickers were not mentioned in the instructions, so I put those aside and eyeballed it. (which worked just fine). Do note that once its in place, I wouldn't try re-positioning it. The glass screen protectors (2) were well wrapped in foam wrap. The isopropyl alcohol wipes should be safe on your iPhone, as Apple has stated that up to 70% is safe for cleaning. The only issue I had with this kit was the fact that the screen protector has a slight air gap around the edges of the screen. I have seen another review with the same issue, and I can only guess that the iPhone 8, and SE have a very slightly rounded screen at the edges, leading to no adhesion for about <1/16 inch around it. (it looks like one continuous bubble around the edge.) It will not stay down. Not sure if this is an issue with other screen protectors. Not a big deal, aside form looks, however if something this gets underneath that edge, it may pry the screen protector up. I am satisfied enough with the protection. If anything notable happens to the screen protector, I will update this.

I've been using screen protectors on phones and tablets for many years and I have been rarely satisfied until I found these Supershieldz. Before, the first problem was installation, I could never get it just right-either misaligned or air/dust bubbles caught under the screen. The second problem is that they would scratch or fade over time, which would mean dealing with problem 1 again as I replaced the protector. But not with these ones. The installation system they have devised is almost foolproof. You still have to be careful, read the instructions and watch their install video...but then it just works. I've done several phones and tablets now with not one problem. In use these last a long time, scratches take a long time to appear and then it is only a few minor ones. That said, if you drop your phone a lot (I do) the corner edges will get gnarly. Not pretty, but in my mind they're doing their job protecting my phone. That's why I use a screen protector. Final item, the price is pretty good. The kit contains 2 protectors.

I’ve only had it for a day so I can’t speak to longevity. There is a hinge method using tabs to make it easier to install.

Good product

These screen protectors are a good fit for the iPhone 7, and fairly good quality. Once installed, they're as good as any of the other tempered glass screen protectors that I've used. However, all of the other screen protectors I've used for my other iPhones, from other companies, have a much easier to work with warranty program. All of these companies advertise "Lifetime Warranty", which means that they'll generally replace the screen protector if it cracks under normal use. In my experience, what's been necessary to make a warranty claim has been to contact the company's customer service and send a photo showing the damage to the screen protector. For this item, the company Supershieldz is requiring that you must return the damaged screen protector to them, for inspection, and then they will send you a replacement: "Supershieldz will replace, at its option, any defective product free of charge (except for shipping charges for the product) with an identical Supershieldz product. Customer must contact customer service and ship item back to Supershieldz for inspection prior to issueing replacement. " This is a bit impractical and somewhat absurd, for the following reasons: 1. It is impossible to remove these glass screen protectors without cracking them into many pieces. That would mean sending a bunch of pieces of cracked glass to the company in the mail. What would be the point of inspecting these cracked pieces then? 2. Removing the protector without already having a replacement means my phone screen will be unprotected for 1-2 weeks while waiting for a replacement. This defeats the purpose of purchasing a screen protector. 3. This is imposing a cost to the customer, to ship the cracked glass pieces back to Supershieldz; the cost of shipping one screen protector back to the company would be close to the original cost of the package of two screen protectors. Although the product itself is fine, I've lowered the product rating due to this warranty process, which to me is an important aspect of purchasing these glass screen protectors. I'd recommend looking at similar products from other companies, that don't have such a non-customer-friendly warranty replacement process.
