Hot water is essential to me and I like to start my day with a hot cup of water. I bought this to take with me on vacation. I would be staying in hotels but hot water to drink can be hard to come by. I needed a water kettle that is a smaller, portable size. This worked great during my travels. After I heated up water, I poured it into a thermos so I can drink hot water throughout the day. It has all the great features of a normal size electric kettle, only smaller and more portable. It heats up fast, has a pour spout, has an automatic shut off feature, and a flip open top with the push of a button. I also choose this model because it has a stainless steel inner container. The outside stays cool to the touch. After my vacation, I continued to use this kettle almost daily at work. It works great. After I am done boiling water and empty the hot water in my cup or thermos, I leave the lid open so the kettle can dry. I've had no issue with cleaning. I am very satisfied with this product.
