This is one of my husband’s favorite things. And he is a “knife guy!” We received our’s as a gift. Since then we have been giving them as gifts. Easily slices through all melons!

I bought my first watermelon knife years ago and they cut through a fresh melon like butter. About a year ago I started making my own biscotti, and if you know anything about the process, you have to cut them in those diagonal pieces after the first baking to ready them for a second bake. My Ginsu knife did an okay job making the cuts, and then I decided to try this knife. Makes the perfect cuts for biscotti without tearing or breaking the cut pieces. So...............I bought another just for my biscotti making. Even labeled it as such to keep in nice and sharp. Sometimes I even amaze myself.

I've had my old watermelon knife for years. I didn't realize how dull it was until I purchased this knife. It cuts through my watermelon and pineapple with ease. Highly recommend!

I am older and have arthritis. This makes it possible for me to finally cut melons without feeling like I'm fighting to get into them. Long enough for any size melon and very sturdy, not wobbly.

Growing up, we made due with the biggest kitchen knife in the house to cut melons. It was always a chore, especially with watermelons. I decided to invest in a melon knife because I was tired of the struggle and buying presliced fruit is expensive.I have Kuhn Rikon paring knives which I love, so I decided to pick their melon knife. It's one of my best purchases. The knife is of course long but it's sturdy and easy to grip. Cutting through various melons is much easier because of the serrated blade. I highly recommend!

Works great. Cuts through watermelon & other melons easily. Looking forward to having it around for squash season too.
