I bought this kit for my little brother, and honestly, it was a huge hit. From the moment he opened it, he was really excited to see everything included. His favorite part was definitely the “gross” experiments because, of course, that is the best thing ever to a 10-year-old. I liked that it not only kept him entertained but also made him curious and ask questions about how things work. Definitely a great gift choice.

I have bought several science kits over the years and this by far is the best. Here’s some of my favorite parts about this kit: 1. Sturdy box with compartments to help organize all the stuff inside 2. Two books included, one with detailed photo instructions for the experiments that are done from the box, sans another book with experiment ideas with items from around your house. The books also go into detail about the chemical reactions with the way they do. 3. Everything you need to do the experiments is included in the box: bowls, cups, stir sticks, measuring spoons and beakers, powders, dyes, etc. No more messing up spoons and bowls from your own cabinets. 4. This is probably not important to most people but I find it to be awesome. They included tiny ziplock bags for storing the powders after you open them, and labels for your creations. 5. The experiments were easy, and turned out great every time. My son spent hours working on experiments and still has lots of experiments left to do! This is a great set and worth every penny. It would make a great gift for any kid. I will definitely be buying more kits like this one from National Geographic. This one really lived up to their brand!

My 8 year old son loves this. It's a great family activity. Lots of different cool experiments to do. The instructions are easy to follow. The experiments don't take too long. It's super fun and educational. I learned things I didn't know myself 😁

My grandkids ages 2 through 10 had a lot of fun doing the experiments and learning from the information that accompanied the directions. The only warning is that most of the experiments we did were dependent on other experiments. Still, good time spent with the grandkids

got this for our son (age 7) for Christmas. he loves doing the science experiments with us. discovering the reactions with the various items in the box was pretty neat even for us adults. you have to do the experiments in the order they are in in the book as some products you make are needed for other experiments. I do wish the pictures in the book looked more like the actual outcome of the experiment, my son was a little bit disappointed. overall love it and will buy different boxes.

I bought this for both my partners son age 11 and my niece age 6 they both absolutely loved these experiments and had a blast 💥 with every single one in the box. Fun for the whole family and you learn some things. Would definitely but more and different types of sets.
