Review: Very impressed - I have a S&W 640, and have tried a handful of holsters. Most end up being too short as the barrel is slightly longer than other J-Frames. For leather or canvas, it's not too big of a deal, but it really makes a difference with kydex. This holster fits the 640 perfectly. It is very adjustable for retention, and slightly for the cant. I agree with the other reviews stating this is primarily for 3 or 4 o'clock carry. It's not impossible for other position, but not ideal. I am truly impressed with the quality and fit, especially for the price. If anything happens to this one, I would buy it again. I highly recommend this holster.

**Q: Will it fit a 2" Colt Detective Special?**
A: I would strongly advise against it as Colt revolvers could be easily scratched by the Kydex, I’d recommend a leather holster for that application. This holster may be too narrow for a six shot revolver as it’s made for a 5 shot.

**Q: Will it fit a rock island armory m206 snub??**
A: No just the 5 shot revolver. The Rock Island is a 6 shot with a slightly wider profile and cylinder. It’s a copy of the Colt Detective special. This holster is suited for 5 shot SW and Taurus. Personally I’d steer clear of this one as it’s cheaply made.

**Q: Will this fit a charter arms .38spl ultra lite detective?**
A: Yes

**Q: Will this fit a rossi .38?**
A: If it is on the 2 inch 5 shot frame yes.
