Very Informative & Great Recipes
I love this book, lots of great information on overcoming autoimmune issues and tips. The book is beautiful and has lots of photos as well. I almost didn’t buy this book but I am so glad I did!

Fabulous Book!
This cookbook is amazing! I just received it a week ago & have already read through the first few chapters & made some amazing recipes. I love how Carolyn gives an explanation on inflammation & what we need & don’t need in order to combat this. I love her suggestions on kitchen & pantry staples too. The meal planning section is great. We have already tried the lemon garlic chicken thighs recipe & everyone loved it even my picky eater! The sheet pan beef & broccoli is also another favorite. Can’t wait to try everything in here! Highly recommend this book!

Best cookbook for my nutrition clients!
As a board-certified, holistic and clinical nutritionist, I am constantly recommending that my clients eat more vegetables and anti-inflammatory foods. They often report it hard to figure out what to eat, and finally, we have a solution! This cookbook is by far the highest rated of the ones I recommend to my clients. They love the recipes, as do I! Highly recommend!

This is much like many other cook books.
This has some good recipes. I found nothing special or out of the ordinary with this cook book. It is good for what it is, but nothing special. I does fit well into my collection, so I will keep it.

New Recipes To Cook On Repeat!
LOVE my new Carolyn Williams cookbook! Her last one had some fantastic recipes that I easily added to my cooking regime. This book takes it up a notch with one pot recipes! I’ve made several dishes already, some of which I plan on keeping as staples in my refrigerator! The Mediterranean Quinoa Salad is AMAZING and we have made it at least 3 times already. The Chile Verde With Shredded Pork is the best soup when you want to change it up from chili or chicken tortilla. The Skillet Mexican Rice Casserole was a family favorite! I’m looking forward to trying more recipes for my family over the holidays!!!

Good Recipes
Meals That Heal – One Pot: Reduce Inflammation for Whole-Body Health with 100+ Recipes for Your Stovetop, Sheet Pan, Instant Pot, and Air Fryer is a great cookbook with many photographs of interesting and inviting dishes. The concept of one pot meals is appealing, especially to those with small kitchens or limited funds for fancy pans and pots. The author takes readers on a journey about food and its healing properties. There is a lot of information about inflammation - what it is, what types, and an approach to eating healthier. The pages are colorful, but look more like a textbook or a pamphlet than a cookbook. There is a guide to no fuss, anti-inflammatory eating and planning tips for successful and satisfying meals. Particularly helpful to those new planning ahead with meals are the lists of what to keep on hand, how to organize, and how to utilize shortcuts to make meal preparation easier. The recipes are separated into logical sections, which I have listed below with some of the standout dishes.Toss and Go Meals: Mediterranean Quinoa Salad; Southwestern Caesar Salad; Easy Greek Frittata with Balsamic TomatoesSoups and Stews: Chipotle Lime Lentil Chili; Pesto Zoodle Chicken Soup; Creamy Buffalo Chicken SoupMeat and Poultry: Pan-Fried Chicken over Lemony Greens; Lemon Garlic Chicken Thighs; Pork Piccata with ZoodlesFish and Seafood: Seared Scallops over Summer Corn Salad; Sheetpan Jambalaya; Chili Lime Crab CakesMeatless Mains: Skillet Shakshuka; Greek Fried Quinoa; Tuscan White Bean SkilletSides and Salads: Southwestern Kale Salad; Shaved Brussels SproutsSnacks, Treats, and Drinks: Mango Salsa; Lemony Ginger Cookies; Lima Bean Hummus; Pomegranate-Lime MocktailBasically, the author goes through how to identiy inflammatory triggers, reduce stress, and eat to heal your body. Meals That Heal has good information, but the flashy pages do not feel rooted in science. There are a lot of good recipes and, for that reason, I would recommend Meals That Heal to other readers.Disclaimer: I was given an Advanced Reader's Copy by NetGalley and the publisher. The decision to evaluate this cookbook was entirely my own.

Disappointing
I bought it because it says Meals that heal. I am currently seeing a cardiologist on reversing heart disease. None of these recipes will heal but cause disease. Not a healthy book.

Very useful.
I liked this book. It is really useful. When you are trying to eat more healthily it can be daunting, confusing, time consuming and costly. This book gives you quick healthy meals with little fuss. I hope she writes more.
