Making your own tortillas with masa harina is an experience that is not to be missed. I made 18 tortillas with just two cups of this corn flour. It is not the same as cornmeal at all. The tortillas were also great the next day heated up. I reheated two and filled them with some scrambled/omelet eggs. Delicious! I am so happy to have found this I will definitely get it again. It took me a moment to figure out how to press and roll the tortillas out (I do not have a tortilla press), but once I got a technique down, I can easily churn out tortillas. It mixes up quickly, and the texture is moist and soft. Waaaaaaaay better than the store brand sold at my grocer. I like to cook twice - the first time is to "set" the tortilla. Then I store them in my fridge until I'm ready to eat them, and I cook them a second time for whatever I'm making, whether tacos or a quesadilla or a "Mexican" casserole. Excellent flavor.

Soooo easy to make these tortillas and taste amazing! Real tortillas at home and I make them with the tortilla press. Highly recommend!

COLOMBIAN AREPAS!!! I'm half Colombian and I'm eating more organic these days and I can't get rid of my Colombian roots or food so I decided to buy this and try it out. The masa is so thin and fine and better then the other 2 brands I used to get which start with G and P (iykyk). In the first picture you can see some were made on stove top and 3 I made in the airfryer with a little bit of avocado oil, (My other side is Puerto Rican and we used to fry them) And they came out so yummy!! Un chin de butter and some cheese with eggs and a chicken apple sausage (the 2nd pic) and i was good to go ! Next on the list Colombian empanadas :) I only have one complain ... the bag wont close at all so i just put it in a zip lock bag ..not a big deal, I still recommend buying this .

Sopes is my absolute favorite dish and I wanted to try and make it on my own. Found an easy recipe and sure enough I got sopes! It tasted so good. King Arthur never disappoints as I use their bread flour for foccacia. Next I am going to try and make tortillas!

Just add a pinch of salt and some water to the flour, and flatten a bit of the dough by hand into a tortilla. Heat the tortilla in a pan for a minute -- no oil needed -- flipping over the tortilla during cooking. What I like is that that the tortillas don't stick in my stainless steel pan, even though I don't use any oil. I can easily make 1 - 2 dozen tortillas while I'm doing other things in the kitchen. (They keep in the fridge.) I like that it's organic.
