There was no care instructions with my plant when it arrived. However, I have bought plants from this vendor before. Plants are all healthy. Plant it in a spot with initial semi shade coverage until the plant is a little stronger and can take full sun. There are many good YouTube videos on passion vine and care depending on the zone you live in.

Do you cut these plants back? Or let them vine

These plants are vigorous growers. You should cut them back once a year or once every two years depending on how much space you have for them to grow. Cutting them back makes a healthier plant. You don’t want to cut them too much right before the cold season though as they need more leaves to do photosynthesis and make food during the colder months. I would cut it down towards the main stalk few weeks after the last frost of the year. Passion vines are actually pretty hardy, so all you really need is making sure they get enough water and have a good soil. Make sure to protect them from frost when the temperatures drop under 40 F. Good luck. This plant will bring you so much joy with fantastic flowers and delicious fruit.

Can i plant this outside? i’m in zone 9b with summers ranging from 98-117 degrees fahrenheit. would you recommend i grow this inside?

Hi I would not recommend it for the inside as it's a vining plant that needs a trellis or something to grow onto. We have one that has grown pretty big. It does like hot tropical weather as we are in Central America.

I live in nc and i have the kind that when ripe they're still green. they die in the winter and come back every spring. are these anything like those?

no they are nto. when ripe they are purple and edible.
