Broke after 2 months
Over the span of 2 months caught 5 salmon and 1 steelhead on this rod and everything seemed fine. The day after I caught the steelhead I was setting up my rod and when I pulled the line threw the guide's the tip section snapped in 2 pieces. Do not buy this combo!

Good combo
Quality seems good. Fly line has loop connector for leader. Caught 2 Coho salmon on it and drag system worked well.

Great quality combo
Awesome fly rod and reel combo! The quality of Penn has always been top notch, and have been fishing with battle and battle 2 spinning reels for years. This fly reel is very nice and the drag system on it is smooth. The rod is nice as well. Looking forward to landing my first big fish.
