You could connect your wires the way it suits you most. With that being said, some people will put the "input" wires on the bottom and the "output" ones on the top. At least, that's what I did. **Q: is there something wrong with putting 2 positive wires onto the product to use as shut off..while still having fuses in line?** A: No **Q: I would like a diagram of exactly how to wire this up. also, i see the seller mentioned a manual. can i request one also?** A: This breaker is as simple as it gets. As you look at the breaker there is a plus and minus indicators at the very top of the breaker. This is where your 12 volt supply connects. The 2 bottom terminals correspond directly to the 2 top terminals, positive on the right, negative on the left, top to bottom. These terminals on the bottom are what you connect the load you are protecting to, for example a solar charge controller or a solar array. The wiring schematic is located on the front of the breaker. I can't answer to the manual, I did not need one.
