They’re cool and all… I just wish I could pick different color schemes

The media could not be loaded.  I got these lights yesterday and I gotta say, I’m a fan!These babies can change color, brightness, lighting modes and even bump with your jams! (See video) The music syncing isn’t perfect, but it is more than sufficient for a party with your friends and can be improved by ensuring they are plugged in near your speakers.They are also much more aesthetically pleasing when compared to LED light strips and you could use them in place of hanging bistro lights where you wouldn’t want to do that with a light strip. However, the individual balls are about the same diameter as a dime, so they won’t look as good as bistro lights when they are off.Perhaps most importantly, I can use them outside! On a construction quality note, they do seem fairly well made and the balls are a softish rubber like plastic so if you drop them when hanging them up they won’t shatter which is great. And I’m certainly hoping they live up to their IP ratings, but only time will tell and I’ll provide an update in a few months.I also appreciate the fact that I have so many options to control these -don’t have your phone? no problem. Can’t find the remote? No problem! These lights can be controlled with your phone, a smart assistant, the included remote, or just the controls on the plug!Now, they’re definitely more expensive then your typical LED strip lights, but! I think the extra features and aesthetics make them worth it. Bottom line, I would recommend these to a friend!

These are really neat lights in a lot of ways. There are many different flash modes, I love the colors you can select from, and I love the rainbow combination of colors in several of the flash modes. You can also choose any single color to have on steady. The only thing you can’t do is have any rainbow or multi-color combination of colors on steady. There seems to be several different options for more basic string lights with way fewer functions that enable you to do this, so it seems surprising that these fancy ones wouldn’t. Personally that is the main reason I got them, so I’m returning them.

The media could not be loaded.  The different modes of lights are delightful! Some are very flashy and some are quite calming. There is a lot of versatility with what you can do with these lights. We use this in my kiddos reading tent and it has been a hit! The only criticism I have is that the remote doesn't always work and is pretty finicky, but even without the remote working all the time, the lights still work wonderfully just by controlling them by the wall plug in.

Bright and pretty. Perfect for my classroom to add some lighting and be able to turn on the overhead fluorescent lights. The globes are just big enough to provide enough lighting but not be obtrusive. The warm white and cool white light options are great!

These lights were fairly easy to set up, and the options are great with the app. But what's not evident anywhere is that you can't plug one set into the next like traditional string lights. So, if you want to use them strung across your front porch, you'd better have a power outlet on each end, or you'll end up needing one extension cord per string. Major bummer.

The media could not be loaded.  This fairy light is perfect for my outdoor patio canopies! Love how easy it was to sync to the Plus Minus app and have google able to turn them on and off. It gives you awesome preset scenes you can use or you can customize a specific color and brightness. It gives off such vibrant bright lights that you can see under the canopy is nicely lit up! You can use it for so many different things/areas and for different holidays! I look forward to seeing more customizable options through the app.

Either these things aren't waterproof, or they just stopped working for other reasons. The fact that only a few bulbs are lighting and the ones that are lighting act erratically – that leads me to believe the power/control enclosure took in water. Lasted less than 6 months outdoors while spiral wrapped around a raised pergola with zero chance of submersion or puddling.They would probably be fine indoors. Though, while were working, the level of customization for the patterns of the lights was pretty slip. You get the patterns the app comes with and that's it. You can also set them to a specific color.Given one star because I bought them specifically for being outdoor rated and for that purpose, they proved to be a waste of money. False advertisement.
