Alfred DunnerWomen's Allure Slimming Missy Stretch Pants-Modern Fit

I'm having the hardest time finding reasonably-priced light gray pants. I had a pair but I gained some weight and they don't fit anymore so I've been trying to find something comparable with no luck. Based on the product photo, these looked like they would fit the bill but when they arrived, I was bummed to see they don't. (For reference, I'm trying to match the color of the chair these pants are on for the picture.) They fit really well and I'll keep them because of that and the fact that they were pretty cheap but I guess I need to keep searching or lose some weight so I can just wear my old pants and end this fruitless search.

Like butter, nice fabric, not sheer, fit is good (a little gappy at the lower tummy, could have sized down) slim fit through thigh and nice fit in rear

Which was like $12 on prime day. These aren't pants that I'd pay $40 for ever. They do run really large, as in, I exchanged a size 12 for a size 10 and even those are still pretty loose. I just don't like the seams that zipper front pants create poking out, so was trying to find something that laid smoothly across my stomach. They do that part fine and look fine, they just aren't the new "go to" pants I was hoping for

The length and waist are just right—size 16 and 5'3

Have to iron, and even when I do they looked wrinkled 1 hr later.

Not for my body shape I guess. I’m 5’7”, 134 lbs, and pear shaped. It fit perfectly on my booty but was too loose around the middle. However, quality and stretch were good. Wish they had size 6. Had to return
