The Folk of the Air

The books arrived a few hours before scheduled, so I was extremely happy about that. The books were packaged in Amazon Plastic Packaging, probably not the most suitable for books. However, the actual book set came in a box replicating the one in the picture of the item which is just a standard 'The Cruel Prince' Box set. That was wrapped in a separate clear plastic which protected the books from getting dirty or scratched. Unfortunately, there was a small bend in the box which resulted in one of the books edges to be slightly damaged but its hardly noticeable. Overall, im really pleased with the quality of the books and really excited to read them :)

The plot is gorgeous with the right amount of backstabbing, betrayal, and action. IN LOVE WITH THIS SERIES!!!!!Also, THE BOX AND THE BOOKS ARE IN PERFECT CONDITION!!!!

Ahh...i wish i could upload pic of this beautiful set...amazon is having prblms with it...but anyway.... the box set is perfect...it has three books...amazing books by holly black! The cover..love them...gonna read it....

Okay so I'm going to be 100% honest,▪️THE PACKING :-it came in a plastic bag.-there was a further transparent cover around the book.-one edge was slightly torn (no problem though since I stuck it with transparent tape).-the books were in perfect condition.Overall the packing was good :)▪️THE BOOK EDITION:-the books are reallyyy pretty😍 their titles have a gold embossed outline too.-the box they came in was not hardcover though, it was paper. Hence you have to be careful while handling the box so it doesn't tear.BOOKMARK NOT PROVIDED, for anyone who may be questioning.I have yet to read the books but I think they'll be good. Also, I bought this set for rs.660 total and it's certainly worthy of the price.😄 So if you're a book nerd, buy it to make your bookshelf even prettier!

Good. I loved the books, a lot of world building and I feel like there needs to be an index or something about the creatures because I had to Google what they were at times because there was lot of information to process. I hope Holly Black comes back to this series as there is more to explore. Only downside was that my box arrived a tiny bit damaged and it was too much hassle to send back and reorder for another probably damaged box (hence the 4 stars)

You already know where this is going, right?The enemies to lovers part is ON POINT. An incredible twist to the normal fae stories we read and know. Perfect for fans of "A Court of Thorns and Roses" and "Wicked Lovely". For me, Holly Black is the fae queen.𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨

This has to be one of my favourite series. I like the character growth, the world building and of course ship the main romance. This has been on my tbr for so long and I regret not reading it sooner.There are some frustrating parts, such as when you read and get to know Jude as being very clever and then at the same time not realising something so obvious such as a loophole in a ruling but I guess it does emphasise her humanity and how she lets her emotions get the better of her.The romance is from enemies to lovers and I do think that Holly Black fully explains the reasons behind Cardan’s behaviour and you also get to see him develop and become better in a very realistic way.If you’re a fantasy fan then you need NEED to give this a read!
