My cat can go out on to the balcony and it closes behind him. Keeps bugs out. The tacks that came with to attach to door frame worked well, though I had to take it down for maintenance to do repairs one day and I used a staple gun to put it back up, worked even better. As long as you install it correctly and line it up properly, it will always shut behind you (or your pet). I do have to clean it as it catches cat hair on it. Oh, and my cat learned how to open it quickly, took two times to show him how it worked (once going outside, and once coming back in) and now he opens it like a champ.

We love this thing. It is very windy at our back door which has broken multiple screen doors so we decided to give this a try. It is great the kids come and go and the door is never left open so it keeps bugs out great. The dog can come and go as she pleases which is also nice. My only complaint is we have a steel back door and if you push hard enough the magnets stick to the door and dont seal. Which isnt a fault of the product but it isnt a frequent problem and normally only sticks near the bottom which is still way better than a whole door being left open.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it didn't fit like I had thought. This is probably more my fault than anything as I thought it was for a sliding glass door and I think it is for a normal door. So I only have it taped on the top and then to one side of the door frame (not both sides as it is intended because it doesn't fit up right), but even with that it works awesome. The dogs figured it out fairly quickly on how to go in and out. The magnets that keep the two parts closed works really well. I would highly recommend it, especially if you have your door open for dogs to go in and out during the day. It works really well and it looks like we will have less bugs getting into the house now.

I've seen these screen doors around for a few years and never thought to buy one. I'm so happy one came up on the lightening deal. It was very easy to install and now we can have the door open all day and not worry about bugs. I love it. Will probably buy another. The dog isn't liking it too well but that's fine, he won't go through it. Too funny. Buy it, you will not be sorry!!

Not a universal size and because of the adhesive border, if your door frame is too small, the product doesn't work as well. The adhesives are not very strong/durable, I had to nail it to the frame. Magnets are very strong.

very good product. easy to install. friend of ours saw it and said he was going to get 2 for his house. A + product. PS the dogs love this and we do not have to open the door for them.

Bought this last year on a lightning deal, and just got around to installing it today. This screen is much better than the old one I had. I like that it's one piece instead of two individual pieces. It is well sewn, and the magnets are strong. It is windy today, and the door isn't blowing open like my old one did due to the stronger magnets. Very pleased with my purchase. Highly recommend.

So far so good. Installed it about a week ago. Keeps out most the flies. The night bugs still sneak in, needs more magnets! The dogs are incredibly confused. They still try to come in where the door opens instead of the middle, be careful to not let your pets rip the screen the first few tries. I'm still getting used to coming in and out with my hands full. It takes an extra hand to open the door now, but it's worth the effort to keep out the insects. All the neighbors think it's awesome.
