Less is more! I have always been skeptical of melatonin but stilk tried various ones. For the last year or so, I was taking a store brand 5mg chewable but it didn't seem to go much. I came across these from Bluebonnet which had great reviews but I figured that at only 1mg, they wouldn't do much. I recently had a really bad sleep phase, where for a month, I struggled to fall asleep, woke up a few times during the night and woke up earlier than my alarm but unable to fly back asleep. Since taking the Bluebonnet melatonin, I haven't had a single poor night of sleep! I will say that my sweet spot is three of them for a total of 3mg. 1mg does help me but for me personally, 3mg helps me fall asleep quickly and sleep soundly through the night. And 1mg of these works considerably better than the 5mg ones I previously used. These are priced low, so I don't mind using more of them and they taste really good! I have found that the key for me is taking these about 20 mins before I get in the bed and cutting out any additional screentime. It's rare it takes me more than 10 minutes to doze off. Prior to these, it would take up to two hours of being miserable from not falling asleep. Highly recommend these! You do NOT need a high dose of melatonin, as it's all about the quality over quantity.

I am on my second bottle of this product. It's a great natural product without artificial sweeteners. It tastes good. It's very effective and you can take smaller doses. I originally bought Bluebonnet Melatonin for my children for an occasional sleep aid as it is only 1 mg tablets. Most products available in stores are 3-5 mg tablets. My 7 and 10 yr old can be given two tablets, for a total of 2 mg, and it works like a charm. I also discovered that it is super effective at occasionally calming my dog who is terrified of fireworks. WAY MORE EFFECTIVE than tranquilizers. She gets 3 mg. What makes this formula perfect for dogs is that there is no Xylitol in it. Most, if not all, of store bought formulations of children's and adult melatonin is sweetened with Xylitol which is very poisonous to dogs. This is not. You can't go wrong. Great for humans and pets alike! Love this stuff!

This is a GREAT melatonin! I love that it's a 1mg chewable for kids. And it's hard to find such a low dose too. Will definitely keep buying as needed. It has an excellent flavor for picky kids too. It tastes like cotton candy.

I'm a senior that had a hysterectomy 20 years ago. I have been weening myself off HRT for a year. Now I am waking up at night every hour with night sweats. Consequently, I'm not in the best mood during the day. I considered products with Black Cohosh, but they did not work for me twenty years ago & I'm afraid to take St John's Wort because I have kidney issues. I was looking for the lowest dose of Melatonin. I stumbled on this, & it seems to be working. I don't chew it; I take it with a little food (I take a cracker) & water about an hour before bed time. I no longer wake up every hour at night & I feel better during the day. I haven't been taking it long enough to know whether I will develop a tolerance to the dosage & have to increase it. Arrived in perfect condition well within expiration date. I am very pleased with this purchase. ***THIS IS AN UPDATE*** I just received my 2nd bottle & the entire bottle has been sealed. Kudos to this manufacturer for their safety precautions!

These work great for my almost 5 yr old when she started having night terrors. Took a few days to start working but overall has helped a lot. I’ve taken them too and find the taste is good and they help me stay asleep at night I take 2-3 of them my daughter takes 1 My first bottle came broken, (Shipped only a padded envelope) I didn’t know was broken because it was the very bottom of the jar and was held together with the plastic they put around the bottles. It cut my finger pretty good when I removed the plastic seal. Shards of glass were everywhere. Deducting a star for poor packing and my bloody finger

Good flavor and dissolved quickly. Just needed stronger dose personally.

It works and also tastes good! I definitely recommend.

this is the only available 1 mg melatonin on amazon. kind of costly, but the quality is very good . i break it and give to my kids aged 6 and 10, maybe later will increase dosage to 1 mg to both. melatonin works as antiviral also. useful for kids who have sleep difficulty and or hyperactive.. for adults 1 mg is less, but for a start its okay. overall i am happy and will buy again.

Works very well for dreaming, it does do much for me as for sleeping, but I get the best dreams, I suffer from constant nightmares, sleep paralysis, sleep apnea, ptsd. So this product actually helps me dream better. I would recommend a low dose, like 1 mg, instead of 5 mg.
